It’s the one year anniversary of the release of Spare, how are you all celebrating?!

In all seriousness, a year on what impact do you think the book has had on the Royal Family and the Sussexes?

In my opinion it clearly did very well commercially but in popular culture it became a bit of a joke. In terms of the RF I’m not sure it made much difference - to people who already didn’t like them it confirmed what they already believed, to people who did like them it was more evidence that Harry was no loss. I also think even a year later it has made reconciliation between William and Harry impossible.

He was talking about inhaling the gas and air when Meghan was in labour (and finishing the canister). Also smoking weed in the garden when Meghan and Prince Archie had gone to bed. Fairly recent then.

Because at 10 she was just a child. Yes, Harry should have realised that he woukd become less and less important to the Monarchy as time went on because that's how it works. It would be easier to carve a niche out when you were so low down by the age of 10 than live your life and be further marginalised. And, as others have said, she was her father's favouredchild. By all accounts it was Charles who did not get on with his parents and who did not understand him.

Understandably, that does have an effect on one’s life and may result in conduct unbecoming. Have we all been guilty of reacting badly to something? I’d say it wouldn’t be unheard of.

Nude partying? Drug taking? Getting off one’s chomp? It wasn’t ideal but again, we deal with things our own way.

The racist description of a forces colleague though? Similar unpalatable accounts? No amount of tragedy can excuse that.

Isn't drug taking quite prolific amongst the upper classes. Definitely prolific in the city.
