Kate is not going with william to Singapore as George has important exams. What exams would a 10 year old be sitting in November?
I know nothing about private school systems so hoping someone here does.

Thank god my mother at 79 still looks out for my welfare even though I am 53

♥️

@Daisyislazy

I’d hope at 79, you’re looking out for her.

We know why he moved ! Because they didn’t get the half in/ half out they wanted .
This has been discussed endlessly so there’s no point in me adding anything else .

That's your chosen interpretation of the situation. And not what very many others think.

Daisyislazy · 10/10/2023 14:29

I'm still her baby 😉

Example of history being rewritten 🤔

After many months of reflection and internal discussions, we have chosen to make a transition this year in starting to carve out a progressive new role within this institution.

We intend to step back as ‘senior’ members of the Royal Family and work to become financially independent, while continuing to fully support Her Majesty The Queen. It is with your encouragement, particularly over the last few years, that we feel prepared to make this adjustment.

We now plan to balance our time between the United Kingdom and North America, continuing to honour our duty to The Queen, the Commonwealth, and our patronages.

This geographic balance will enable us to raise our son with an appreciation for the royal tradition into which he was born, while also providing our family with the space to focus on the next chapter, including the launch of our new charitable entity.

We look forward to sharing the full details of this exciting next step in due course, as we continue to collaborate with Her Majesty The Queen, The Prince of Wales, The Duke of Cambridge and all relevant parties. Until then, please accept our deepest thanks for your continued support.” - The Duke and Duchess of Sussex

This was the half in/ half out statement - for the avoidance of doubt. Strangely, it's still there on their Instagram account!

And?

Roussette · 10/10/2023 14:32

By the way, to the poster who says Andrew doesn't leave Windsor. How do you know that? He is keeping a low profile because he is an entitled arse who mixes with sex traffickers, but you don't know what he does and where he goes.

And he does get his security paid for by his brother.

It's designed to shut him up.
Which is why he still lives on a massive Royal Estate with his ex of 30 years.
His silence is bought

They left due to the way they were being unfairly treated here and the danger it was putting them in and they also wanted to be of service to the Queen (especially understanding from Harry)

What’s the point you’re making?

Like me and my adult kids. It's great. Something happened to me recently, they were truly wonderful!

Awww... I'm getting that fuzzy feeling now!
Treasure your Mum, bet she loves it like me Grin

Daisyislazy · 10/10/2023 14:37

@Roussette she's my best friend, we have days out together and she loves a cocktail and a vino , people think we are sisters which is good for her but not so much of a compliment for me 🤣🤣

I do love the way history is being rewritten.

I know. its like people forget that Harry was treated badly and his wife had to put up with racism. yet they think that Harry is as bad his uncle.

As their own statement makes clear, they wanted an in/out arrangement, spending half their time in the UK (attending Royal events of their choosing) and the rest of their time monetizing their royal ties abroad.

When that plan was rejected, they stormed off in a huff. If anyone is rewriting history, it's Harry in Spare.

A great example of a loving family.

The opposite of what Charles Windsor and Thomas Markle exemplify.

How lovely! There is nothing I enjoy more than going out for drinks, meal, cocktails with my two. They take the p**s out of me something rotten but I secretly love it

Daisyislazy · 10/10/2023 14:47

@Roussette DS does that to me too, he has turned 18 this year so him taking me for a wee vino is still a novelty!

What Harry wrote in Spare was observed in real time. I remember it clearly.

There’s no way I could have survived the national onslaught of abuse that Meghan was experiencing (and still experiences many years later).

George will be at Uni by the time this thread comes back to his education

MissElinorDashwood · 10/10/2023 14:52

Did anyone see the latest cover of Hello magazine?
It’s very much related to the issues discussed in this thread.

MissElinorDashwood · 10/10/2023 14:58

I was as annoyed with this cover as I was when I first saw this thread.

Edited

I just googled it. Is this something that is agreed by the parents?

If not, I'd be suing. Since when is a 10 year old a pin up on the front cover of a magazine like Hello??

This week Hello magazine looks at the Princess of Wales and Prince George's journey to the throne as he prepares for his next milestone, with our Royal report.

FFS he's got years of this. Poor little chap. (I said that once a year or two ago and was roasted for thinking so)

royalwatchewr · 10/10/2023 15:00

I do think that Harry was failed by his father with respect to his education. William was naturally bright and conscientious, so did well anyway, but Harry clearly needed extra input which wasn't given.

A good education is about more than getting into the right Uni course, it is something that instills confidence, a solid set of moral principles and a broader understanding of the world.

Kate and Will seem very thoughtful, astute parents and they are absolutely right to be prioritizing George's education. With their support, I've no doubt Charlotte & Louis will do very well academically too.

Yes, I agree, and there’s a quote by Kate on the cover also.

I said this would happen. She brought unnecessary attention to him.

I don't think its relevant to the need for security though.

I find it interesting that Harry was deemed at risk and requiring of security while working as a senior royal, and that the security threats miraculously disappeared when he left. Its amazingly convenient.

No it isn't relevant to security but I was replying to a post that was commenting on lift from the airport, birthday wishes and I can understand why Charles and William don't feel the need to put themselves out for him. If someone badmouths me I'm not going to be wishing them a happy birthday. Well I probably would if I got an apology.
