I’m not one for loving/ hating outfits normally.
but loved what she was wearing , think it really suits her

I'm no fashionista so wouldn't normally pass comment but I thought she looked lovely in both outfits, the pink colour really suited her. Not sure who designed the pink outfit but the blue dress and cape by Dior was stunning. Both outfits suited the occasion.

I loved whoever had done Camilla’s makeup last night, she had a fantastic glow for a lady of mature years.

She looked stunning in the navy Dior outfit. Very regal.

I don't think the outfit suited her, it wasn't elegant enough for a Queen, And along with that pastel pink it looks a bit weird and frilly. And she should have weighed down the hems. She doesn't have the elegance of the last Queen.
A shift style dress in jewel tones would have been far more elegant.

I like Camilla but was it just me who thought the cape outfit was a bit Darth Vadery?

(I also like Star Wars, so that might even be a compliment).

I love Camilla's evening outfit, but wondered why she did not wear a tiara. I know there are rules about when to wear one, but surely a state dinner at Versailles with the King and President is a grand enough occasion.

They chop heads off royalty over there. Maybe Camilla didn't want to bring too much attention to her head 👀

Camilla seems to get better looking all the time. She seemed a bit plain when she was young, but has aged beautifully.

I thought the baby pink outfit was ghastly and not right for a woman of 76.

I'm old too by the way before anyone accuses me of ageism. I just think her dressers and designers are trying to make her into something she's not

Perhaps she was just glad to be out of half -mourning given it's just over a year since QEII's death, and couldn't resist a pastel?

She has definitely had her eyebrows dyed, and I think they are a little stark.

I wonder whether the outfits were planned for the original dates (6 months or so ago -postponed due to rioting in France). The pink seemed a very Spring, blossom in the air colour choice.

She looks beautiful in both the pink and the blue outfits and amazing for her an age. Great looks for a Queen Consort.
Did the Macrons and the Royals discuss in advance what they were wearing so they'd all match? I'm neither a royalist nor a fashionista but the partner-looks made for a great photo!

This lovely. I think it's jut the breeruffling her hir but it looks softer somehow and nicer than usual.

I read in another thread that’s she has also had a bit of tweaking done in NY plus teeth which is fair enough I suppose if you are constantly photographed. Money definitely helps!

I am totally with you Roussette I think that baby pink is unflattering on a more mature woman. I think it’s a colour for someone in their twenties. I also dislike the tan tight + sugar pink combo - it’s reminds me of the uniforms worn in American diners. There’s just nothing chic about it and this was definitely the occasion for chic.

I agree. The blue outfit is stunning. I wonder if she asked the POW if she could borrow her engagement ring to match the other sapphires though........ 😉😐
