Does anyone know if it's true that they're being paid £55,000 pounds to attend?

If so I think that's a poor show on their part.

Anyone confirm or hopefully deny this?

@CoffeeCantata I have seen that figure mentioned as that is what the cost of the 2 flights will be for a mid sized private jet like that.

I have read various reports that IG are paying all their costs, including private jets, wardrobe, but have no idea whether that is true. None of the sources are ones I would trust 100%.

But I think transparency would be a good idea.

There is no escaping the claim of expenses, unless they are willing to post bank statements a denial will not be believed by all, in fact it would probably add fuel to the fire. Even if Invictus say they haven’t paid the Canadians would probably feel it being paid by them.

Maybe put the wine down, how is saying there is no point in arguing about expenses as those you’re trying to disprove are not going to believe you having a dig. It simply stating it’s an argument they can’t win.

I don't normally think much of pictures of the royals but seeing the ones today they both look really happy, naturally happy not putting on fake smile.

I am always trembling when I see these skeleton athletes going headfirst down a narrow icy semi-tunnel at such crazy speeds - with just a helmet on!

I would imagine these are the very people who would be able to do this - can you imagine the feeling of freedom for someone who has lost a leg or both?
