Well I never.

Andrew is at it again.

He lost his security last year. He enlisted the help of Priti Patel to have it reinstated. She lobbied Charles's Private Security to this purpose, and someone has leaked that.

He never gives up does he....

Oh Dear

So the royalist defence of the keeping secret of papers associated with the ‘royals’ is merely ‘ it’s always been like this’

Yes . We know . That’s why people are protesting .
But that’s really all a royalist ca say isn’t it ?

There is no defence for this in 2023 .
It reeks of corruption . Yet again .

Nigella Lawson, was denied permission to board a flight to the United States after admitting she had in the past used cocaine (this was publicly confirmed by the US Embassy, by the way). Kate Moss and Amy Winehouse had similar problems. Why is Harry different?

Lots of slebs have admitted drugs use and retained free run of the US:

In pictures: British celebrities who have taken drugs and still visit the US (telegraph.co.uk)

As you well know I don't hold a candle for any royal but Harold's story doesn't seem much different to these to me.

Andrew tacking on off-piste meetings, golf jaunts and upselling his private banking buddies in a role we were assured was purely in the UK's interests isn't remotely comparable.

If all the hugely expensive travel, lush dinners and general poncing about was above board it'd be an easy PR win.

Sealing the details for 100+ years stinks.

No, I am not suggesting that. Hmm

I am talking about Andrew.

I don’t think not making Andrew an exception will be specifically about Andrew.

Even if Charles felt his brother should be thrown to the wolves because of his actions he’s not going to do it because it leaves them all open to it going forward.

@CathyorClaire the crucial part was she had lied on her form and then you have to admit it under oath, not just say it on telly or in a book, and obviously it is only adult use they would be interested in. Plus all your other points!

It seems some posters here fail to understand that the USA and the UK are....two different countries. With different laws.

One person here was publicly finded while "representing his country" yet has records sealed for 105 years. Let's throw in the others too. Whatabout-isms are still irrelevant.

There's a difference.
