And dressed as a middle aged man at ten yrs old.

Not every 10 to has to live in joggers and a Minecraft t-shirt. Smart trousers / chinos and a shirt are perfectly acceptable for a "nice" birthday photo

Anyway, it's a lovely photo, I can see both parents in him.

And, in the same way I'm also slightly shocked that my twins are now 22, I feel.old as it just seems like yesterday he was born.

I think he has a look of Will about him.

It's deliberate apparently to over dress on the occasions like him going to the football etc so when he's in civvies he's not so easily recognisable.

It's a class thing I guess. Preparing for military life where you need to be smart. The upper classes being famously judgey

It's nice to see him looking relaxed. He always looks so uncomfortable at official events. I'd not be surprised if he steps aside and let's Charlotte have the crown in years to come.

And what's wrong with that. It's smart. And it works because they leave him alone in his private time.

He does not. They just show pictures of him not smiling. He smiled just as much as his sister at Wimbledon for example. IMO

No of course not but I think he doesn't look like William (Charlotte is his double). IMO he looks more like Middleton side with Spencer coloring

As I went to open this thread, I ran a mental sweep in my head as to how many posts in before someone made an unpleasant snarky remark.

@RYGO we'll have to agree to disagree on that. He always looks on edge and like he'd rather be a million miles away. All the royal children have a huge burden on their shoulders. I strongly suspect he won't face the resilience to withstand royal life. And hopefully his family society will be a much more accepting place if he doesn't chose public life.

I think this huge burden stuff is a bit exaggerated.

On holiday in Jordan, I met a 6 year old selling souvenirs in Petra. Now that kid has a burden to bear, working and helping to support her family at 6. Prince George not so much.

I posted this previously but one of my boys always seemed a bit like this, yet he was, and is, the most confident and self assured person you could ever come across. You can’t judge a book by its cover and you can’t tell a child’s personality from a few photos and a small amount of footage. We never hear him speak or see him in private. Impossible to make a judgement
