Recent photos, she's walking with friends and she's so slim but definitely looks just like my sister did when she was about 6/7months pregnant - she's wearing black but I'm sure I can see a bump that isn't her usual figure!

Might just be the angle but it would explain why she didn't attend the Coronation and why Harry flew back so quickly. I appreciate he had Archie's birthday too but it would be another reason.

When you see the tag Backgrid it is understood that nobody else wanted to photograph this person so they have resorted to paying to be photographed and talked about.
They would know that they fall into this category, based on the number of times they have gone out and looked around for those cameras but nobody has given a shit. It is better to pay to stay in the papers then to not appear in the papers at all, if you are trying to stay relevant.

These clients use Backgrid regularly.

She looks terrific. She also looks like she put on the best costume for the day. The other two look like they were going for a normal walk. So I think the photos were staged and that’s her prerogative. Her Father did the same and I felt the same way. Cheesey but whatever.

It looks like an expensive combination put together by somebody who doesn't hike regularly. As if they went into a shop and asked what they needed to wear and were sold a bunch of useless elements too

Jennifer Garner used to call the paps all the time, a few years back there were daily pictures of her going in and out of gym , out for a post workout smoothie , picking up her kids from school , and stuff like that ,
ofcourse it was after her split and she was trying to maintain her Americas sweetheart image, , a few movies deals and a baby food business later and it all suddenly stopped,

Surely after decades of increasing awareness about unrealistic expectations of personal appearance, making specific comments about women's shape in a way that doesn't happen with men, leading to anorexia, body shaming etc. Its such a toxic mindset yet here we are behaving and thinking in exactly the wrong way and excusing it because "that's how it's always been". On a mainly women's forum. Just for entertainment

I find these kind of pile on threads deeply unpleasant. The pack mentality that comes along with bullying which is present in children is still going strong in grown adults.

MM does not need to call the paps. She gets followed wherever. They would be hounding her out to find out what she is up to during the Corrie weekend. If they want the best payoff, this weekend is it.
She would have been dressed immaculately. And no, she doesn't need to shut herself in her house because royals are doing something - that just sounds abusive. While I can believe we are going to this charity come along to promote it, I don't think MM needs every day publicly. She is simply not at the stage yet, no matter how much you wish it.

In Canada she was accused of smiling to the paps, and later it emerged that the paps were hiding in trees with lenses and there was a long distance with cars in street between them and her.

I’ve seen this a lot and just want to clear up a common misconception—Backgrid is not a pap agency and photos being on Backgrid is not necessarily indicative of a celeb/their team calling the paps on themselves. The individual paps may be involved in staging but not Backgrid themselves. Backgrid is a photo hosting agency - they don’t employ paps. They essentially work as a middle man for paps to host and sell their images to publications/outlets. That’s why Backgrid photos are so common (see Eugenie and Beatrix meeting Piers Morgan pictures for an example) —paps are essentially freelancers and use the site to sell their photos, the photos are hosted on Backgrid so they link to the site and often have their watermark. But Backgrid has nothing to do with how the photos were taken or setting up a staged situation to get pics.

Really? These are all Backgrid pictures - I don't think that nobody wanted to photograph these people pictured. Once more - Backgrid are not a pap agency - they sell pap pictures.

Celebrities stage photos to have control over their image, for one thing. It's not all about lack of interest. Taylor Swift is known for it.

Megan and Harry using the public door to a venue recently when they could use a private one instead is a good indication that they are on board with being photographed and controlling these shoots. Harry did it during the hacking hearings, too. Elton John used the private entrance.

Announcing her representation just last week, though it's pretty obvious that relationship has been in place for a long time now, is another sign she is attempting to take control over her image and public presence.

This "hiking" one was just too perfect. Were there any shots published of her not looking just perfect? That's a good sign that she's had some editorial review over these.

Also, Meghan obviously knows how to keep from being photographed if she likes - she did it for months recently, right?

I think this woman can't win for losing - one week she is terribly dressed another week she's too well dressed

I had to look closely at the pictures - she is wearing a sleeveless black top, leggings, thick socks, a neckerchief, a hat, a light jacket around her waist and sunglasses. Pretty standard camping attire for me - minus the top (my arms are too flabby) - I even own a similar hat. She has been pictured before hiking with Harry with similar attire (that neckerchief seems to be a standard) - wearing a cap instead of a hat.

Sure these pictures could be staged but they seem pretty low key telephoto images Meghan walking with friends. Nothing more. Nothing less. Not sure why they are being commented on - if people don't want to drive the people who make money off these images to find these people, they should stop driving the demand.

I hope those photos were staged otherwise wearing Diana’s Cartier watch for a hiking trip was a brave choice 😵 imagine if that came off!!
