I saw this earlier and I might be a big romantic but it really touched me ! 🥹
It was very a very heartfelt and unneeded comment and for me shows that he's still wild about her after all this time they have been together.

The thing is that it doesn't matter if she is stunning and well turned out, it is how he sees her. My husband would say the same about me and I'm 70, could do with losing 10lbs, hate having my hair done, stopped wearing make up about ten years ago and most morning I look at the jar of cream by the bed and can't be bothered to open it but he still sees me as he did 40 years ago and that's what matters.

Now that's romantic ❤️

She does have the lovely high cheekbones now but the point is that they were 'acquired' and I could probably tell you precisely what she had done. Nobody is tearing her appearance apart, she now looks the best of the lot.

It’s called ageing, mostly, and losing the things that pad out your face, like buccal fat. Kate had it in her chipmunk cheeks in her 20s, but has lost it as she aged, as we all do. (And since she doesn’t permanently look like she’s sucking on a straw, she’s obviously not had it surgically removed, either)

I think she has an amazing figure but I would agree with the posters saying that she wasn't a natural beauty. When I look at the photos from her graduation, I don't see someone who would have stood out compared with the other 21/22 year olds. Pretty yes but not turn heads in the street kind of beautiful.

I think she has had some great work done but is getting to the point where the Botox is just starting to make her look a bit odd sometimes

I'm not down on them. I just find it gobsmacking that anyone thinks this is wonderful and romantic. He's on a walkabout, he has to say something good obviously, and yes she often looks stunning... with all the help in the world.

It is a bit much to be so in awe of something so trivial. That's all.

This. I'm sorry to be snarky but this is a breathtakingly banal and credulous topic of discussion. Man who is in the public eye and has been rumoured to have had an affair tells journalist his wife is attractive shocker.

@ArcaneWireless Aw I'm still optimistic and will get a nose job when I can afford it, as it appears like it was broken at some point.

There's a weird stalker guy who has it in for me online, and honestly half his teeth are missing and he goes round like that with seemingly no desire to fix them. As long as we do more than him, we're winning. Grin

I fell flat on my fact about 15 years ago and broke my nose, it doesn't look too bad but the hospital said I could have it fixed. I haven't bothered as it is me now, one of the many scars that mark my life but I live in fear of ending up with dentures. I've still got all my teeth but if I need them I will find the money for implants because I can't bear the thought of dentures.

I wouldn't be so sure. Most people do not go all out Liam Payne or have it done in isolation. You hollow out what is necessary and fill up other areas to counterbalance it. A great surgeon would plan this carefully using mapping apps and execute it perfectly.

I think she is photogenic and always looks stunning. My favourite photo of Kate was the James Bond premiere. It does help having money for the best treatments, clothes and stylists.

It's her actual job to look good.

She has nutritionists and chefs to do all her food planning and cooking, and it's always the best quality ingredients, grass fed and whatnot. She has personal trainers and the best facilities in the world to exercise and she doesn't need to worry about childcare to go to the gym.

She has the world's best dermatologists doing her facial routine, and only the best products in the world go onto her skin. She has stylists who pick the best colours for her and the types of clothes for her body shape.

She would actively have to work hard to look bad.

Pluck out anyone from Asda, and after a year of that, they too would look stunning, even if not considered 'a natural beauty '.

Fergie had access to all of that also.

She lost a lot of weight after marrying , I had a heated discussion with my MIL about her weight with MIL saying she was a great role model and me saying she would be a better role model if she was a stone or two heavier I.e a size 10-12 as apposed to size 6-8 as that would be more achievable and natural/ healthier , she got really skinny after the alleged affair stories were breaking

Why would someone be a better role model because of their clothes size?????

I find it odd that you find a very normal comment from a man about his wife is worthy of comment. People in relationships compliment each other every day, I actually feel a bit sorry that this silly woman in the crowd made a personal comment that meant he had to comment on his wife’s appearance in public. The woman making the comment came across as desperate and inappropriate. There’s nothing romantic about forced compliments in my opinion.

It is really isn't it and if one person sees you like that it doesn't matter what the rest see does it. He's 6 years old than me and he is convinced he saw me once when he was about 17, I used to go near where he lived to get to my new grammar school. He says (he's an old rogue really so who knows if I should believe him) he saw this girl and fell in love and waited for me for the next 20 years until we met at work. Exactly this. And pages and pages of comments follow with people remarking that a man said his wife is attractive. Even by the usual standards of royal stories this is exceptionally unremarkable.

If he'd said she sometimes had an outbreak of spots that would be a story.

She’s one of the most photographed women in the world. Marked changes in the contours of her face would be obvious (indeed, that’s how it’s clear she’s had veneers and Botox). If the work is so subtle that it can’t be seen in all the photos taken of her over the last 20 years, maybe the answer is that it hasn’t happened…?

(unless of course you can point us to a series of photos that show a sudden, rather than gradual difference, in the contours of her face…)

That's a beautiful photo of her. She's lovely- yes she does have the best help but even if she didn't, I'd bet most people would find her really pretty. She'd still have a beautiful smile and nice bone structure. She's not naturally stunningly beautiful but very few people are.

I don't think she's had a nose job, we have similar shapes noses. As a teen/young adult my tip was more bulbous & looked bigger on my face. As I've aged it looks smaller & slimmer, I guess my face got bigger?
