I saw this earlier and I might be a big romantic but it really touched me ! 🥹
It was very a very heartfelt and unneeded comment and for me shows that he's still wild about her after all this time they have been together.

I think she’s stunning, I wouldn’t mind having 25% of her looks.
The photo of her at the Queen’s funeral is simply beautiful.

@Princessconsuelabananahammock9 that's interesting, I used to model & people often say I look like a bit like her now - similar smile (she has better teeth). I was considered too catalogue & generic for a proper modelling career.

I think she is beautiful.

I also don't buy into the 'money buys beauty' because you can't make a silk purse out of a sow's ear to quote an old proverb.

She looked good as a 20 year old student and looks just as good now if just slightly more polished. I think she's happier in jeans and a jumper TBH rather than occasion clothes.

Her skin isn't perfect- this is not a criticism - as she does have a couple of acne scars on her forehead (or chicken pox scars maybe.) And I doubt she has had work done as she's only 41 (and when she is tired it shows.)

There are several younger women in the RF who are married to very rich men or have access to money and some of them look ghastly.

OF COURSE she has had work!!
subtle work but lots of it.
and I’m sure I’d do the same with all that scrutiny.

@ArcaneWireless Aw I'm still optimistic and will get a nose job when I can afford it, as it appears like it was broken at some point.

There's a weird stalker guy who has it in for me online, and honestly half his teeth are missing and he goes round like that with seemingly no desire to fix them. As long as we do more than him, we're winning. Grin

Lol True. Alien is exactly how I would describe my look! It took years for me to appreciate unique doesn't mean ugly.

Kate is gorgeous..I am sure you are too..she is very girl next door pretty which I think for some models works. Christy Brinkley and Cindy Crawford are very pretty women.. Giselle and Bella Hadid very unusual looking..

I love the different types of beauty in the world. It helped me love myself more seeing that there is no one version of beautiful.

It's her actual job to look good.

She has nutritionists and chefs to do all her food planning and cooking, and it's always the best quality ingredients, grass fed and whatnot. She has personal trainers and the best facilities in the world to exercise and she doesn't need to worry about childcare to go to the gym.

She has the world's best dermatologists doing her facial routine, and only the best products in the world go onto her skin. She has stylists who pick the best colours for her and the types of clothes for her body shape.

She would actively have to work hard to look bad.

Pluck out anyone from Asda, and after a year of that, they too would look stunning, even if not considered 'a natural beauty '.

I think she has always been very attractive and photogenic. She doesn’t need special products, nutritionists or personal trainers to look good, just look at some of the early photos of her online, from before she had access to all that.

They are long & lean but have shorter legs & long torsos & not much shape. I don't like to comment on peoples bodies but I don't get the idea that this is the standard.

You are dead wrong then, as this is a very common body shape. There’s even a word for it: longwaisted. I have this body shape myself. It’s not a flaw, just a common figure type.

@Serenster why do you think I don't know what long waisted is or that it's not common? It's not a flawed body by any degree, they have lovely bodies. I just object to the idea that this type of body is perfection & what we should all aspire too.

Before the work, she looked good, she didn't look great, exceptional or memorable. Maybe not Asda mum but Waitrose mum.
There are obviously a few people on the thread who think that having work done equates to looking like Cher or Gary Newman's wife where the surgery is obvious and OTT. Most people who have had good work done (as Kate and Meghan both have) aim to look naturally born beautiful and usually achieve it with top surgeons. I like the expression used by Amanda Holden (who is stunning IRL (and has had help) when she said that she would work until her face dropped off and live off her property investments after that!

The thing is that it doesn't matter if she is stunning and well turned out, it is how he sees her. My husband would say the same about me and I'm 70, could do with losing 10lbs, hate having my hair done, stopped wearing make up about ten years ago and most morning I look at the jar of cream by the bed and can't be bothered to open it but he still sees me as he did 40 years ago and that's what matters.
