I read this morning that King Charles has told him he will no longer foot the bill for his £32k a year live in yoga instructor. This shower of free loaders are so detached from reality it’s laughable.

My heart bleeds custard for the poor man.

adrianmolesmole · 11/03/2023 12:13

Urggh.. who'd want to be Andy's yoga instructor? Gross 😳😣 😷

declutteringmymind · 11/03/2023 12:13

I highly recommend yoga with Adrienne

DoorstoManual · 11/03/2023 12:14

They must be able to work him quite hard, considering the fact he doesn’t sweat.😃

It makes you wonder what the others are having paid for. I doubt Andrew is the only one with ridiculous requirements, he’s just unfortunate to have fallen out with his brother who is now the boss.

gogohmm · 11/03/2023 12:23

I suspect this is not the last revelation of things changing. For all his faults, I do think Charles has a much better grasp of reality and chooses a simpler approach to life where possible. Much is dictated to him (including the houses he "owns" though mostly they are not really his to sell of course) I get the impression that Charles would rather not be dealing with extended family matters, he seems he wants to be more hands on with his main role, like his grandfather, including keeping an eye on the government)

unsync · 11/03/2023 12:57

He does Yoga? Are you sure that's not a euphemism?

Inkanta · 11/03/2023 13:19

Find it hard to believe he does yoga.

LittleBearPad · 11/03/2023 13:27
Shock

I don’t see Andrew doing yoga and chanting

Inkanta · 11/03/2023 13:29

Mindfulness meditating - no I can't imagine that.

spendapoundsaveapenny · 11/03/2023 13:32

I'm crushed. How can I go about my day knowing this? 😆

Great minds think alike!

I have just posted this on another thread...

Charles has told Andrew he's not going to sign off the £32,000 p.a. for a live in yoga teacher. Queen had been signing it off for years apparently. Charles has blocked it.
Good. I am enjoying the thought that PA doesn't have his Mummy covering for him and indulging him anymore.
But FFS £32,000 a year for this out the public purse over years (and yes it came from the Sovereign Grant) I dread to think how much of this extravagence there is that we don't know about.
More of this please Charles.

That's what I was thinking. You can be sure others will have yoga, gym, whatever instructors.

Pure luxury with no bill to pay.

Oh the joys of being able to spend Mama's money (well she did have a lot), and now the terror of those essential spends being withdrawn.

Still doesn't make me think any better of Chuck though. He should have held the Coronation without invitees and just a TV/online viewing option. No frills. But no, Chuck likes spending other people's money too, so I wouldn't be admiring his frugality just yet!

Ritasueandbobtoo9 · 11/03/2023 13:45

Disgusting, we don’t even get pens in my local authority job. Not even PENS!

I suggested pay-per-view on another thread. Brilliant idea from me lol. All proceeds to a cost of living crisis charity. Then those that want to watch it can. Those that don't can just donate or ignore it all.

I thought for a min you meant pay per view for Andy’s yoga sessions 😆

Andrew has a yoga instructor..? I've heard it all now

PillBoxes · 11/03/2023 14:14

@Roussette Excellent idea, but the peasants need bread and circuses to distract them from their inevitable fate.

NotWaterproof · 11/03/2023 14:17

I don't personally have an issue with people taking yoga lessons.

I find it odd that the head of the Church of England would fund yoga, as it's a practice from another religion.

DobbyTheHouseElk · 11/03/2023 14:21

Why does the yoga teacher need to “live in” how much yoga does he do to warrant a live in yoga teacher. Ridiculous.
