Courtiers by Valentine Low: Charles bullying staff

I am listening to this as I clean today. I had no idea how awful Charles was to his staff - throwing things at them, taking out his ‘explosive anger’ on them. I am fascinated to find out what he thinks of William and Harry but that might have to wait for tomorrow’s cleanathon. Anyone else read or listened and been surprised by Charles’ bullying of staff?

Funny how easily you start making personal digs at posters that don’t agree with you, with your insinuations that my life is negative and that I’m weird and obsessed. Tut tut, not very kind is it, says a lot about what type of person you are.

You are - that's all you post about. Ignoring you now; I find the hate directed at these two really baffling, and the people directing it just boring and pitiful.

@Menstrualcycledisplayteam oooh more personal digs at me - thanks for proving my point. I find it baffling that you’re so eager to be mean to random strangers on an online forum. But under the guise of defending millionaire celebrities 😂 maybe If you try really hard, you’ll see the contradiction between the image you’re trying to portray of yourself and your actions!

Please don’t put words in my mouth, I don’t hate Harry and Meghan. I was being critical of all of the royals. This is such a tired old strawman argument from certain posters who seem to take it personally when people point out the glaring truth.

Funny, you sound just like another poster, they also regularly start making personal digs at posters on the royal threads, hoping to get a reaction, then pretend to be the injured party, then flounce off - a bit like Meghan and Harry’s epic flounce.

I also only started to post a day ago, so not sure how that counts as me always obsessively posting- if you’re going to stalk me please do it properly.

‘The whole concept of "aristocracy / nobility / monarchy" is from feudal times’.

That did make me laugh. Although it is an important point in the debate (although the debate is hard to find sometimes)

I think the title of VL put me off because this thread did pass me by.

The only royal who was not described with a temper in general, is Edward.

While the press has been busy chasing a horse loving woman, they seem to have not chased up more interesting stories, like the employees who have been leaking, plotting and taking liberties.

I would imagine that it’s more the case of it being typical for a royal household to have a housekeeper and gardener working at least 9 am to 5 pm every day Mon to Fri minimum. Fine if you’re used to that, but intrusive if you’re not. It sounds like Kate wasn’t used to that.

I suspect the reason K&W and kids moved to a 4 bedroom place was Kate's wish to lose live-in staff. Won't last much longer now they're a step higher in status.
