I love her enthusiasm - and then the plastic sneaks in

MountedbyHarryWindsor · 24/01/2023 17:19

PlaitBilledDuckyPuss · 24/01/2023 17:22

Congrats to her.

EpicChaos · 24/01/2023 17:29

Well i'm sure it will be brought up in a 100% climate friendly way! :-/

ThighMistress · 24/01/2023 17:46

I was thinking pleasant thoughts for her and then saw that load of guff about plastic. Very good, but will they cut out (or even down on) travelling, heating and lighting, cars…

She seems a nice young woman, but the rf don’t half breed ‘em daft.

ReamsOfCheese · 24/01/2023 19:17

It's the trendy thing these past few years to say no plastic toys. I'm the odd one out amongst everyone I know as our toys are mostly plastic. I wish her well with her pregnancy.

Throwncrumbs · 24/01/2023 19:26

TAM

stillavid · 24/01/2023 19:44

I wonder if she offset her carbon footprint for her post Christmas holiday to Mauritius?

Agreed

CathyorClaire · 24/01/2023 21:07

Yet another royal finger wagger 🙄

If she stopped commuting between Europe and her 'job' in the UK she might have more of a point.

MarshaMelrose · 24/01/2023 21:17

That fugly coat she wore to the Christmas Carol Service already gave away this secret.

onlylarkin · 25/01/2023 02:23

To be honest, I don't think this comes as a surprise to anyone after seeing her on Christmas. 😅

Good for her for keeping it quiet as long as she could!

Coffeecreme · 25/01/2023 05:47

When is she due

Coffeecreme · 25/01/2023 05:48

Is she the dark haired one

greenspaces4peace · 25/01/2023 05:56

She’s married to a multimillionaire really why should it be anyone’s business.

HegsDear · 25/01/2023 06:08

😂
What? No baby gym, fisher price, duplo, lego, playmobil, cuddly toys?

I don't believe her.

DingDonkey · 25/01/2023 07:00

I don't think anyone is remotely surprised by this.

MixedCouple · 25/01/2023 07:05

Lol we wanted to go plastic free. Had wooden toys and wool/cotton teddies etc but family and friends got us a poad of crap. We are very wco friendly. We barely use our car and w all everywhere. We have only been in 1 holiday in 3 years to visit OH elderly parents.
I buy my staples in my market with a big vat and fill my own glass jars. I buy loose veggies and fruits etc.
We do the best we can.

BernadetteRostankowskiWolowitz · 25/01/2023 07:07

Pity with the no plastic rule is no Lego or Playmobil!

tattychicken · 25/01/2023 07:23

Yep agree. A childhood without Playmobile and Lego?! 😱

evtheria · 25/01/2023 07:27

We're definitely not a zero-plastic family ourselves, but I know of a few who are and they will buy or receive second hand Lego and playmobil. It's probably better than brand new toys being created, no matter if they're made from the offcuts of tree boughs that have naturally fallen.

ajandjjmum · 25/01/2023 07:56

I thought either she or Beatrice was pregnant, when they seemed to rush out of the back door as HM's funeral ended. And as everyone has said, it was pretty obvious at the Carol Service. Nice for the Yorks.

StClare101 · 25/01/2023 08:02

The title - “again” - makes it sound like the OP doesn’t approve.

lollipoprainbow · 25/01/2023 08:05

Will this one also be an eco warrior?? 🙄🙄

lifeinthehills · 25/01/2023 08:05

I understand the no plastic ideal. I preferred natural materials but there are some excellent plastic toys out there, so didn't ban it entirely.
