Jack Brooksbank is not that wealthy. He manages some sort of time share business in Portugal. Not sure why it's relevant in any case.

Not sure why she's been berated for wanting to not use plastic. Isn't that what we're all striving for? Or have I missed something? Is it because she is part of the RF that we can mock her for saying that over "Rebecca down the road"?

To be fair if Rebecca down the road said her two year old was going to be an environmental activist we may eye roll internally.

I think most of us try to cut down on plastic nowadays but her comments were a little amusing.

I think it’s more the fact that she is well known for taking holidays involving flights, that she apparently commutes between Portugal and the UK and has now mysteriously turned up in Davos to discuss whatever it is she was discussing in Davos that couldn’t be discussed just as well on Skype.

“no plastics” is a noble cause, she has a long long way to go to balance her massive carbon footprint so it’s good she is making a start.

I think Brooksbank was a glorified salesman, and now he's a glorified timeshare manager! Hence the move to Portugal.

Personal preference whether plastic versus wooden toys are best, (leaving environmental reasons aside).
A mixture of the best of both is lovely especially if you can access preloved items.
When it comes to hygienic reality- (unscripted children’s body fluid episodes), plastic is generally easier to sanitise without ruining the toy.

I likes the comment about trying to make her wedding eco friendly. Instead of bottled water, they had water in aluminium cans. What wrong with jugs of tap water?

Totally agree. Those wooden blocks really hurt.
