Love they are still determinedly still using their titles though…😂

Well "what difference would it make?" 😂😂😂😂

GinaandMartin · 12/01/2023 22:03

Maybe he was using the Royal ‘we’

Wouldn’t put it past him, clearly a legend in his own mind (which is seemingly just as truthful as ‘so-called objective facts’ according to Harry)

Cath667 · 12/01/2023 22:21

When I was at college one of my tutors was a freelance journalist for the Irish Times. He was ruthless at marking our essays and I'll always remember him saying 'stop trying to impress with flowery language. The purpose of language is to communicate. The simpler the words, the more people understand them'

Harry and Meghan could learn a lot from him. Few people have the time and energy to decipher their word salad.

TheRedLip · 12/01/2023 22:26

It begs the question WTAF the Archewell staff are doing with their time, considering the charity only made $50,000 last year?

Off the point, but does anyone else wonder why he chose that photo for the front cover of the book? It really emphasises how close together his eyes are.

All the time.

Tbf, once you’ve told the whole world you massaged cream on to your penis whilst thinking of mummy - saying “well done me” is small fry.

Wait….. what????

QueenSmartypants · 12/01/2023 23:43

@StClare101 someone recommended he apply elizabeth arden 8 hour cream to his frostbitten willy...Apparently Diana used it as a lip balm and so he was reminded of her as he applied it :/

I've thought before that they are in reality just modelling the royal set up - with the staff and visits and titles. The styling is more royal than celebrity.

Not surprising as what he knows but then I guess.also... odd? given their commentary on the institution.

But then he doesn't (and Meg) really want to give it all up. That's always been the crux.

It's what gives the Duke and Duchess of a Windsor vibes.

Let's see if they change it.

I had a bit of a giggle at the reference to "The Private Office of The Duke & Duchess of Sussex". They live in California. Their titles have no meaning whatsoever there. So why would they need a 'private office'?

It's a bit like when they talk about their 'Chief of Staff' or 'Global Press Secretary', as though they were high ranking politicians. In reality the 'private office' is that room where we saw Harry juggling outside the window, and all of the above 'staff members' are Meghan with a laptop and a Hermes scarf.

Bahahahaha!

You're being unfair. You left out Archie in his Hugo Boss rompers and coronet and Lilibet in her Gucci nappy. I'm sure they were only too happy to join in by pressing the space bar occasionally.

Kateforqueen · 13/01/2023 00:36

@Gymnopedie don't forget about their dogs!

@Gymnopedie don't forget about their dogs!

Of course!!! Guy the beagle for press secretary and Pula the black lab as web content creator. They're going to need a bigger office.

*I had to look those up.

Gymnopedie · 13/01/2023 00:56

^^ I asterisked the names and it's put the bit between them in bold instead. I didn't think of that. Maybe I need a secretary too.

oakleaffy · 13/01/2023 01:29

“Archewell “sounds like a grimy underground station.

“Chewell” sounds like a chewy dog treat.

Harry sounds deeply Oedipal.
Markle is NOT his Mummy.

Pula means **nt in Romanian- Why name a dog that?

oakleaffy · 13/01/2023 01:32

Edit.
My error
Pula means “ Penis” in Romanian.
I knew it was a genitalia slang term.

WhatIfWhatIf · 13/01/2023 01:33

Surely it should be 'Huge congratulations...' or 'A huge "Congratulations!"', not 'A huge congratulations'?

(Misses the point...)

And his ghost writer didn’t talk him out of it… that confirms my suspicion that the GW/publisher absolutely knew the damage this book would do to him.

JoyPeaceHealth · 12/01/2023 18:28

That story about him rubbing 8 hour cream on to his penis and the smell reminding him of his mother.................. I just cannot believe the detail.

What in the Oedipus

Mrsjayy · 13/01/2023 08:31

Kateforqueen · 12/01/2023 21:03

How did the ghost writer keep a straight face🤣 him & his todge are the laughing stock of the world. H&M have no credibility whatsoever Xx

He's todge obsessed he's like an 8 year old boy who won't leave it alone !

Crinnnnnnnge

oohokay · 13/01/2023 16:11

I'm sympathetic to his obvious mental health issues but I legitimately laughed very hard at this!

BasiliskStare · 13/01/2024 14:36

@Cath667 - I agree with you ( and so would Ernest Hemingway methinks. ) Use less flowery language and just get across your point . Some of the Sussexes pronouncements , press releases etc just look like they have come from Google translate.

Rockybooboo · 13/01/2024 15:12

EarringsandLipstick · 12/01/2023 18:42

as the world finally hears your story in your words.

Is it mandatory to use this sentence in every piece of writing, interview & website update?

I'm going to scream if I hear them say it one more time. 😤

Well you could avoid reading about them.
