Am I right here? He was smoking pot - and got annoyed the press published a story to say he was doing drugs?!!

It sounds as though the article was greatly exaggerated but he had still been doing drugs am I correct here?

I also don't understand how charles and Camilla through him under a bus? Is this purely because they didn't stop the story?

Please someone explain! Genuinely have I missed something here?

Harry wants to protect his privacy. Which translates as he only wants you to know what he wants you to know. Thus his drug taking and other poor behaviour is off limits, but intimate details regarding his penis isn't. Nor are details the other royals might not want shared, but Harry and Meghan are the only ones who can decide what is in the public domain.

Actually, he's changed his mind, and his book apparently details lots of examples of his drug taking. But he's the one telling us, so that's ok. And the royals aren't racists today, but they were when H&M did the Oprah interview.

Some therapies seem to encourage the person getting therapy to have one world view..their own. Harry seems to think the only truth is his. We all construct truth in our own way.

It's his information to give out, not the press who are a bunch of vultures.

Then an aide comes and asks him is it true you're doing drugs. He lies and says no.

Yes I understand it's his information but it's jo different to any celebrity or high profile person? It's life - and ultimately without press there people are nothing we wouldn't know they exist so he's being ridiculous?

I interpreted as its more that the royal family to an extent can control or suppress bad news by offering alternative, there is obviously some truth in this but I don’t know how much power. For Harry he believes that they didn’t do all they could to keep it out of the papers. It’s hypocritical though as if truth is important and to be freely told then that applies to the media as well. I would argue now that Harry is the media now.

Equally, it's up to Charlotte to share that she hated the flower girl dress and being forced to wear it for the Sussex wedding made her upset so she cried. H is very open about his drug use all of the way through. He does not hide it.

He objected to the papers printing it in relation to his use at Highgrove. He says that they drank heavily there but did not use drugs. The main reason he is angry is that someone leaked this untrue story to the press (it can only have been Camilla) to make him a scapegoat and to make others in the royal family look better (KC and Camilla) as the story was followed up with lots of other stories eg. Poor Charles the single parent, Charles takes H to rehab etc.
