His Majesty, escorted by Mr. Raymond Simonson (Chief Executive), met students from the Gateways Programme, visited the Kitchen and met refugees, volunteers and members of staff preparing meals for charity, before meeting food bank volunteers and joining a pre-Chanukah Reception for Holocaust Survivors.

His Majesty, escorted by the Chief Executive, and Her Majesty, escorted by Ms. Suzy Jakeman (Head of Projects and Partnerships), toured the facilities, viewing the surplus food market, the Cookery School and the Kind Café and meeting students, members of staff and volunteers, before officially opening Paddington Garden.
