His publisher has confirmed he's sold 400,000 copies across all formats in ONE DAY. That's probably a record breaking amount for a memoir.

totally agree. can you imagine him waking up in the huge California mansion, beautiful weather, slippers on, chef preparing breakfast. And there's his brother and sister-in-law off to cut a ribbon at some leisure center opening whilst it's raining LOL

Have you seen how may ridiculous interviews his given in the last few days?! That combined with exerpts from his book will generate discussion. It is not 'obsessive'. Perhaps if he got of the telly for 5mins we'd shut up about him.

I’ve not read the book or seen one tv interview of him.
Nor have I started a thread about him and I actually don’t mind him.

People are choosing to buy the book/watch him and then are moaning that he’s sold so many copies - of course he has because you bought it too.

I don’t get why if you dislike someone you would constantly go on about him.

If posters admitted they liked him then fair enough but to pretend that they don’t, yet know every single thing about him and what he says is just so silly.

He's had to turn this weird mixture of self absorption and absurdity into a form of prose for publication.

He's a terrific writer, his own memoir is brilliant. He would've written the book from taped interviews, so I imagine those are words straight from the young stallion's mouth.

This is what stood out for me,the absolutely lack of empathy.

His bank account will soon diminish when she takes him to the cleaners and divorces him.

Harold can laugh all the way to the bank - but the rest of the world is laughing at him, and/or disgusted by him and his betrayal and outright lies. So he's got his blood money, but he's lost all dignity and respect from every right-minded person on the planet. If he's happy with that, that's his loss.

Do you think he should be quoting highly sensitive and private conversations? Didn't you know he's complained about people doing just that??

That's very sweet of you to ask, but I'm not going to say. It's genre fiction, but if I say any more someone might work out who I am. I've had more than five books published though.

I saw one yesterday that said Waterfords in the UK had reported an increase in pre-orders after the leak. Also in Forbes.

I did start reading this morning and the ghost writer is very good. Having the context over what the press was leaking makes a huge difference for me.

He was on with Phil and Holly. He was very measured in his support, he has completely toned it down. He may be jealous that he was not offered the gig after demonstrating such loyalty.
