I think the ghostwriter/editor put TK Maxx as they have similar (same?) in US called T J Maxx, so U S audiences would get it. In reality I expect he went to a posho clothes shop that would not be “relatable” to plebs.

TK Maxx and TJ Maxx are the same company - the name was changed slightly when they opened shops here in the U.K.
