Has anyone actually met Kate, Pippa or the Middletons?

Either before or after William appeared on the scene? Mn is very disparaging about the Middleton's so following on from the has anyone met Meghan thread... Has anyone met the Middleton's or Kate?

Completely agree with this. The Middleton's used education as a means to social mobility. More power to them. They invested heavily in their dc & raised beautiful children who won't let the side down.
Pippa's sister in law is Vogue William's ffs. With all Vogue & Spender's love of publicity they have never cashed in on their royal connections unlike chavvy H&M

I'm sorry this has been taken the wrong way - I'm obviously not as condescending about air crew as some if you are - I mean she is always well dressed, hard working and professional but with the edge of a senior customer service manager in a prestigious environment .

I grew up in the area where William and Harry used to hang out when they were in res at Highgrove. Not at all surprised by the allegations that William had an affair, I know many girls who have 'Willy' stories. And that included when he was dating Kate.
I went to an event at the palace that William was officiating at and thought he was brilliantly well prepared and charming. But couldn't get the sex pest thing out of my head as there are so many stories about him where I live.

And yet it's never been picked up by the press. Strange that!

Yes, @Abra1t - it's an expensive private school in Ireland, one of the most expensive in the country for both day and boarding students.

The vast majority of Ireland's schools are non fee paying, so fees make a school really stand out anyway, but Sutton Park is objectively expensive.

The British distinction between quality of private and state schools in terms of academic performance doesn't really hold true in Ireland. People sending their children to an expensive private option are looking for something other than academic success. The vast majority of Irish parents are happy with academic success.

I can imagine she is very competent and efficient.
But why are you guys dragging Kate's sister into Harry's drama. He had the good grace not to write about her (or was paid of by James). I bet Harry liked Pippa.

Yes, I met Pippa & Kate when George was very small. They were at a local farm and I had my niece for the day. She played with the future king but sadly too young to remember at the time! Both seemed like really happy and warm people.

Both extremely elegant too. Even in casual clothes. Gazelle like.

I'm Irish UMC, and I don't think Vogue Williams is. Santa Sabina isn't a fee paying school, and her parents didn't have professional qualifications or careers. Sutton, Bayside, Malahide are all MC areas on the north side of Dublin. Vogue is middle class and seems a nice person.

Sutton Park school otoh is fee paying (and gulp).

Vogue’s stepfather was the CEO of a very successful company. So he certainly did have a career.

Yes! I met Carole Middleton about 10 years ago

I worked in the Newbury branch of Waitrose and she was renowned in there for being really rude.

She marched up to me and barked 'mascarpone'

I said 'yes? Would you like to know if we have any?' and she said 'just go and get me two pots and leave at the service desk. I haven't got all day' and walked off

Another time she was tearing a strip off the manager - something to do with a Christmas Turkey

She's just rude and sneery. That's all I remember of her on the odd time she popped into store

I would’ve been tempted to go on my break at that point, and let her miss out on her mascarpone!

Me too. Simply because why would someone do something so counterproductive.

I bet this rumour circulated after ONE person once saw her say “Oh I forgot washing powder” and quickly nipped back whilst the checkout assistant was scanning her shopping

In laws know them pretty wellso ive met them often. Mike very affable and lovely. Carol nice but can be a bit curt. I like her but then i have an acidic streak too. Pippa really sweet, a touch jolly hockey sticks. Kate quieter but very interested in people. James is super lovely but shy.

Ive only met William once but he was pretty relaxed and i didnt even notice the security.

@Branster I honestly think that her hair is just naturally thick and glossy. My mother's hair was identical. She is mid 70s now and still naturally only a little grey. Also her hair styles were pretty similar to some of Kate's when I was growing up - the curls done with Carmen rollers.

My mum calls it "rich girl hair", was a thing back in her day too with the Sloane Rangers. All had amazing hair.

I was told it was Kate's uncle Gary that bankrolled the family, not any inheritance from the Middleton's. Gary adores his sister and gave her the money to set up the busines and send the children to private schools.

Yes, he paid for their education.
