I cannot see this ending well sadly
I am not an H&M supporter but neither do I 'hate them' . I wished them well when they left the RF and hoped they would be happy in their new life.
But this is insane... I cannot see how it can end in any peace for H at least.
I predict Meghan will leave him and he will end up either crawling back to the RF or sad and alone. Sadly I even fear for his long term sanity and fear he may have a life time of MH problems

I thought the 4 book deal included The Bench and a Wellness book ? I assumed the 4th would be Meghan’s memoir.
In 10 years I honestly don’t think they will be together but if they are , they will be of limited interest as the Wales DC will be approaching adulthood and William might even be King .
I do wonder how they will explain all this to Archie and Lilibet .

The best thing he could have done was really get stuck into work with veterans’ charities. He could have done so much good with that, here and in the US. Sadly with his Taliban revelations he’s blown the opportunity now.

I hope this too, @DerangedViper , because H will have to stay in the US if he wants to have meaningful contact with his children. The American govt. is v. strict on taking minors to live outside the country. So he’d better find something to do longterm.

I read today that parts of the Democratic Party are welcoming Meghan and feel she spins a good narrative: we can see from these threads that she appeals to a certain type of person. Whether she takes Harry along for the ride is debatable.

Hopefully they will be happy in the US . I am not a particular fan of theirs but I watched Harry The Interview today and wish him well. I don't agree that disclosing his side of family life is right, fair or even lawful under UK data laws but we are where we are and I hope they remain happily living in the US with their children.

Some of his comments went a bit far on the interview such as the fact he thinks his family should have therapy, need to apologise, must do this and that as if he were the kind of boss of them and he knows best and is way superior to them on some kind of higher level.

Honestly, I have no idea what books is included in the deal. I don't think anyone has ever confirmed. I read it was IG and 2 more. Could be any really.

I think the games will be his purpose going forward. He could do it yearly and it would keep him very busy and he can have his purpose. So I predict a book on IG will be next.

Well he seems to have upset a lot of veterans so not sure what kind of a welcome he will receive.

He’ll be back living in Nott Cott, Meghan will be a US Senator. They will communicate through lawyers.

I know that sounds like a joke, but 2 states in the US have decriminilzed mushrooms in small amounts so those with PTSD can have them legally and research can be done. He mentioned to AC that he did try it (not on his own)

I don't see it going as badly as others on here. I would say in 10 years Harry will be making a fair amount of money as the face of a business. Like I could see Harry starting a liqour company like George Clooney or Ryan Reynolds

I don't think hes getting back in the Royal fold and I don't think he will have any role in the commonwealth. I think Charles and William will give him every opportunity but no one will trust him again.

Getting a few friendly veterans to speak in public tells you nothing about what most veterans think.

I think he will realise these “tell alls” aren’t making him feel any better and he will throw himself into more of the detail around the Invictus Games (if the community is willing to have him). I don’t think he and Meghan will be together in five years time let alone ten.

I doubt she'll make much headway, because it is unlikely anyone will trust them after this, so she'll be unable to cut the deals or forge the alliances to climb the greasy pole.
