Meanwhile, Megs is in the USA with your kids ...across the pond. And in the future, if you were to split, your book will condemn you as to how stable you are in a custody battle. if he was a single guy I'd be thinking oh dear his head will be sore when he finally grows up but this guy is a father to two children and he doesn't seem to have stopped to think how this does and will affect them it's all me, me, me every minute of every day.

He has basically denied them any relationship with their UK family and Meghan has denied them any contact with their US family other than her mother. They are basically a little island in California with no family.

He has exposed them all to future ridicule and don't even get me started on the drug stuff. The contents of that book will haunt his kids for years if not their whole lives.

When you are an adult and a father you shut the fuck up and you only think of the needs of your children. My own relationship with my parents is extremely dark but my own DS knows nothing of this and never will and he loves his grandparents. I keep my own mouth shut for his sake. If I was to go about shouting my mouth off and telling everyone what happened I'd have no family at all and neither would he.

I think he is a selfish fool and I have no time for him.

She predicted the Oprah interview and the tell-all autobiography. She also predicted that Meghan would divorce Harry within five years and that it would be made very difficult for Harry to maintain a relationship with his children.

Admittedly my friend does have some insider information because of her contacts, but she has been spot on so far.

The fact is that if there is a custody battle, this book WILL be used against him..in his own words.

Just like ordinary couples who have custody battles, they use each other's whatsapp message against each other.

I am surprised that he had no lawyer to protect him, to go through the manuscript and say NO NO NO to certain things e.g. talking about his "chess pieces ".

He has not got advice, or good people around him to advise him of repercussions.

Maybe as a member of the RF he never had to think of such things because it was all done for him. Now he’s no longer under their wing he has no idea how to survive in the real world

However I concur with others that the US won’t revoke his visa - which just goes to show how, despite their rhetoric, the US is not fair to all and do not make the rich follow the same rules as everyone else.

The blame will be firmly placed elsewhere, that much is guaranteed. There will be no self-reflection or accountability, from either of them. Just an endless rhetoric of how everyone else has caused whatever situation crops up next.

I agree with others, though, that RPH needs to shoulder a large part of blame. Is there no one there that would take one look at some of the revelations and think “hang on a minute ..,”?

FUBAR definitely applies with regards to this book.

He has done himself no favours whatsoever, but I also can’t help wondering how he must be feeling, right at this moment, it must be horrible.

Guaranteed they'll split, it's just a matter of when. Both their parents are divorced and 2nd marriages in the US have a 67% failure rate. And that's without this shitstorm. I'd love it if they can ride this out & be a success, I don't wish divorce on anyone. I've been through it and know how horrific it is.

Insane to think MM cut off her father from the root, denying him the right to know his grandchildren because he took a few pics for the papers.

To be fair this has been pretty easy to predict, from the quick wedding and the lack of her family at the wedding (red flags galore). The dropping of Harry's "set", his Uncle and possibly others trying to talk him out of the relationship... it doesn't take a genius to work out which way this is going...(spoiler, it's not going Harry's way!)

So then you say, who's gaining from this....

I think the Taliban have other things to worry about than Prince Harry. Everyone is scrutinising the small tabloid selected quotes trying to find reasons to condemn Harry. Obviously they’ll choose the worst ones out of a lengthy book! Come on have people no critical thinking or common sense?

If you’ve actually read the extracts you would see it is part of a much more detailed and thoughtful explanation of his role. But instead people love to prejudge and jump on the bandwagon. So tiresome.

Every single thing Meghan has done and continues to do is calculated.

The book will have been read and reread by her multiple times and she would have been aware of the backlash to come, the laws around drug use in the US, the frost nipped todger etc etc - she is very far from stupid. So the question is what is in it for her to see Harry crash and burn?
