Harry and Megan should lose their royal titles?

I'm just wondering how many people think Harry and Megan should now lose their royal titles?
After excerpts of Harry's new book, I also think that their children should be denied royal titles.

It's so weird. The strength of feeling on these threads, and yet the inability to scroll on by.

I agree. Their actions (well, Harry's at least) are at complete variance with the stated views and aims.

If Harry wants a reconciliation with his father and brother, then why on earth is he revealing deeply personal (and embarrassing) details of his family life and relationships?

If he and Meghan are so against the Royal Family and all that it stands for, then why on earth do they persist in using their royal titles - and why was Meghan so peeved that her son would not be given the title of Prince?

It makes no sense - unless the actual truth is that Harry is insanely jealous of his brother, resents having been born 2nd (the "spare"), having had a less lavish wedding, having to live in less lavish premises with (I assume) fewer servants etc.

It does seem that there is a lot of jealousy there, which is so very sad.

I think Harry comes across as needing psychotherapy, not only for his jealousy and inferiority issues but also, sadly, to help him process his emotions around the death of his mother. I feel for him in some ways, yet in other ways he comes across as a bit of a "spoilt brat" throwing his toys out of the pram and wanting everyone to run around after him picking them up.

So why did the Queen pay VG,a huge amount of money to make the allegations go away 🤔

He's a very damaged young man and that reflects badly on his family too.

They should have handed all titles back - it would have been a power move from a PR perspective aligned to releasing the book.

But, it is very clear this will never happen.

I think this whole sorry saga just shows that royal families are a bad idea. They damage children and lead to jealousy and poor mental health. Strip them all of their titles. Let people live 'normal' lives, where they can choose what they want to do and not be brought up with ridiculous privilege and a sense of entitlement.

No - I hope the RF don't fall for this one. They should just remain above the whole sordid pantomime. I'm sure any action such as removing their silly, made-up titles would just play into the pathetic persecution narrative.

Don’t agree that they should lose their titles, as it’s not a popularity contest it’s a birthright.

As they do not want to be working royals, and seemingly have a vendetta against the family and reject the notion of hierarchy (as it's so unfair) then I am surprised they have not decided already (and of their own volition) to cease the use of both the style of Prince and the titles from the Dukedom.

I don't think they should be stripped of them.

They have agency - lets see if they will use it to remove the trappings.

No-one doubts that the Tindalls or the Phillipses are much loved family members, so holding on to the title won't affect the family relations
