Thestagshead · 11/01/2023 14:28

No of course not and I,m stunned folks are paying him money to read that shit

Zuve · 11/01/2023 14:31

Bestimmt nicht. Ich würde sein Buch nie lesen

SoupDragon · 11/01/2023 15:02

I posted at the start to say I have no need as it's all summarised on MN.

Now someone has sent me a pdf file of the whole book! No idea where they got it from or where it originated.

SoupDragon · 11/01/2023 15:02

Still not interested in reading it mind you.

NeonEyes · 11/01/2023 15:04

I’m about half way through it. With the context, it’s not anywhere near as sensational as the tabloids made out.

lljkk · 11/01/2023 17:36

Some ghost writer was saying it's very well written (by another ghost writer)

OneFrenchEgg · 11/01/2023 17:48

I feel a bit sorry for him. I wouldn't want to live in an goldfish bowl and have to deal with divorce, death, lines of succession, no real freedom.

OneFrenchEgg · 11/01/2023 17:48

It's very clear that all of the therapy hasn't touched his mum's death.

astarsheis · 11/01/2023 17:49

No. Not interested in any of them

Aspergirl77 · 11/01/2023 17:49

Absolutely not.

Butteredtoast55 · 11/01/2023 17:50

No.
I am just going to let others read it for me, read any extracts that are shared and roll my eyes at most of what I've seen.

He could have chosen a life of real freedom & privacy and enjoyed the rest of his life instead he chose himself to blow up his life with this nasty book, wreck all chances of reconciliation due to the attacks. He has set up a life in a new goldfish bowl in LA and is now putting his kids through a worse version of hos own childhood and drama.

Not the actions of a great man I am afraid.

SmileWithADimple · 11/01/2023 17:52

No. And I'm speaking as someone who reads a lot and enjoys autobiographies!

Lavendersquare · 11/01/2023 17:54

I've bought it and starting reading it last night. I'm only a little way in but the one thing that strikes me is how different the printed word is compared to what's been 'reported' in the media.

There is definitely a very negative spin being added to the versions published in newspapers etc. which is not evident in the text.

I may change my mind as I go on, but at the moment the British press is definitely proving Harry right.

TangledWebOfDeception · 11/01/2023 17:55

Definitely not. I wouldn’t have even if nothing had been leaked.

I wish him well (he needs to get himself off the drugs, and off the resentment train, and stay off them), and I hope he can find peace. But no, I was never going to buy the book.

Roselilly36 · 11/01/2023 17:59

No, I wouldn’t dream of it. Utterly amazed how popular it is.

Moknicker · 11/01/2023 18:00

I wasnt going to buy the book because Im not really interested in any the Royals.

But after reading the hysteria on here I got it on Audible.

So far impressions are positive - not at all what i expected.

TangledWebOfDeception · 11/01/2023 18:01

I’m still gonna hang out on the RF topic until the meme threads are done, though. This is the most I’ve ever laughed in a January!

MaverickGooseGoose · 11/01/2023 18:02

Can't see the point in helping his coffers when it's all going to be disseminated in the press anyway.

skyeisthelimit · 11/01/2023 18:03

I have bought it as I love a good piece of fiction.

Onedayatatime22 · 11/01/2023 18:04

I want to read it so I have the information straight from the horse's mouth. The MSM are picking it apart with a clear agenda. So many people happy to accept the out of context extracts spun by the media... interesting!

OneFrenchEgg · 11/01/2023 18:05

I don't have an opinion on his greatness. I do think his upbringing is impossible to understand unless you've been there, and I can see how he is trying to find a purpose while also healing or trying to and also the resentment at the closing of ranks.

cavalier · 11/01/2023 18:06

Nope

Suzi89 · 11/01/2023 18:09

If anyone uses ebooks you can get it for free on libgen . rs

HildasLostSock · 11/01/2023 18:13

No, its been covered so much in the press that I'm bored of it already.
