Has William's alleged affair been mentioned yet or is he saving for book 2?

Surprised this hasn't been exposed, thought that would be the big reveal. I'm doubting there's any truth to it now unless he's saving it for book 2?

The thing is, how can anyone provide proof? Surely the only proof would be a photo or video of them in the act?

Sweetpeasaremadeforbees · 07/01/2023 01:02

It's damaging - there are human beings involved in this crap. If people have any proof then they need to state it and be prepared to take the consequences (and if they have proper proof there won't be any consequences). Otherwise it's just malignant rumourmongering.

This ^ And I think that's true for rumours on all sides.

BradfordGirl · 07/01/2023 00:47

So all the rumours about affairs and specific names is just made up?
There would be no reason to make this up.
Nobody claims now that Charles is having an affair.

You know there are rumours that Meghan is actually several years older than she claims and was never pregnant? People make crap up and a lot of thick people will just believe anything they read, without the slightest bit of proof, no matter how stupid it is. A whole bunch of people believe that Bill Gates is trying to control people with chips implanted in them via the covid vaccines.

Indeed - and I guess if the rumourmongers weren't hiding under the bed then they have no idea.

I think there was an affair and this is why Harry/William had the fall out.

I don't think it was caused by meghan.

It hasn’t been everywhere. MN is the only place I’ve ever seen it.

Backstreetsbackalrightdadada · 07/01/2023 01:10

Yeah I know this totally kills the vibe but… gossiping about either brother’s affairs and attacking prostitutes … like there’s literally no evidence of any of this. Am
anti royal but come on. These are real people with real families, how hurtful it must be to read this if you were M or K. How do they even disprove them, sue online trolls? Why are people desperate for any of these rumours to be true? The shaming about pegging is super weird… ok maybe it’s not your thing but even if true what’s bad about it? Even me who reads constant celeb goss can’t find any basis to ANY of these rumours. It’s super gross and creepy to be waiting for a “gotcha!”. Personally I don’t need that to be anti royal (and anti racist Harry). Isn’t gossip without foundation just… lies?

To the poster who said your friend (a solicitor) knew of NDAs being signed…I’d report them to be struck off. If anyone else found out about that, it’s the end of their career.

You don’t believe Harry about the reason for William shoving him into a dog bowl then?

BradfordGirl · 07/01/2023 01:13

@Blossomtoes Twitter, and any other social media has lots about the affair.

Backstreetsbackalrightdadada · 07/01/2023 01:14

Twitter also has lots of shite.

FYI if the affair proves to be true, then that’s a private matter for that family. If the attacks prove to be true, that’s a matter for the police.

But there’s absolutely no evidence of either claim.

Lapping up rumours from social media is weird as, and creepy. It’s so easy to start a rumour, and so hard to shake it off.

Which tabloids? If you say some were deleted, I assume some haven’t and can be found?

Blossomtoes · 07/01/2023 01:19

Oh well, if it’s on Twitter it must be true 🙄

Backstreetsbackalrightdadada · 07/01/2023 01:21

As Harry is telling you, the British press are just super truthful and definitely wouldn’t print unfounded claims to sell loads of trash to trolls.

It wasn't Rose...

So who???

lemmein · 07/01/2023 01:42

*Shame on you making that shit up, yeah sure he was shagging in front of the staff. What you write isn’t even logical.

I thought this site was feminist. I’m appalled by rhe posters positively hoping for an affair*

Of all the posts I've read on here throughout this whole sorry ordeal this has got to be the funniest.

1000's of threads tearing MM to shreds - guaranteed pile-on. A mere suggestion that PW may have been shagging about then it's 'how DARE YOU - this is supposed to be a FEMINIST SITE!!' 😆

Literally couldn't make this shit up!

JemimaTiggywinkles · 07/01/2023 01:47

Absolutely this! Kate and her friend had a falling out. Some folk on Twitter (and anonymous people on MN with friends who are lawyers dealing with royal NDAs but unable to abide by the rules of their own profession) declare the falling out to be due to an affair. Because women can’t dislike each other unless there’s a fight over a man?! And there’s a super injunction (which only applies in England and Wales) but the global media (who have far fewer restrictions than the British press) have just ignored it because they’re all out to get Harry and think William is so ace they’re happy to forego profits?! And presumably Kate’s own sister called her daughter after the affair partner to throw everyone off the scent? Bollocks. William may have had affairs, and so may Kate. We don’t know, we won’t know for a very long time (possibly never) and some people just enjoy stirring up trouble in other people’s marriages.

Serenster · 06/01/2023 20:43

Tom Bower is saying (he was interviewed today) that one of the reasons William can’t stand Meghan is that she gloated to Kate about William cheating on her. Tom Bower doesn’t believe the affair rumours. He’s apparently issuing an addendum to his book, so I presume that he’ll be covering this in it.

(usual disclaimer - obviously I know nothing about this this save for the fact that various journalists have repeatedly tweeted that after much digging they have never been able to find any evidence of any affair. The two people who did actually put their names to the rumour - one American blogger and Giles Coren - have both said they actually know nothing and were speculating/joking. There is no super-injunction, so nothing to stop anyone reporting on this except the fact that they have absolutely no evidence, meaning there’s a high chance they’d lose if sued. And yes, last year Kate’s sister named her third child Rose, the same name as the William’s alleged mistress, about whom rumours have been circulating for several years now).

I William is miffed because Megan gloated to Kate about the affair? But said affair never happened? I have no skin in this game, but isn’t that rather contradictory? Either it happened, so in theory gloating was possible. Or no affair and so no gloating, so not a reason to dislike her.

JemimaTiggywinkles · 07/01/2023 01:55

If my SIL started gloating over an affair that my husband never even had I’d think that she was an absolute dickhead and refuse to be any more than civil to her. Even that would take a heck of a lot of effort.

The affair may have happened and MM may be completely innocent of gloating. But the only thing we know for sure is that there has been some disagreements in the family and one side decided to share their —inconsistent— truth with the press they claim to hate. Harry and Meghan aren’t trustworthy. It’s possible that W&K aren’t either, but they’ve kept silent so we don’t know for sure.

BradfordGirl · 07/01/2023 02:00

The affairs are real and it is the media who publicised them abroad.

The rumours are real, yes.

You’ve failed to find a single article from a reputable source confirming those rumours… and comics don’t count.

LadyWiddiothethird · 07/01/2023 02:10

@BradfordGirl No they are rumours,no truth in them whatsoever, the foreign press print here say all the time.....it is how they make their money and twats believe it.

BradfordGirl · 07/01/2023 02:21

Just google, lots of publications abroad have printed about William's affairs.
Don't believe it if you want to.
You will be those like people who insisted Diana and Charles were happily married and were never going to divorce against all the evidence that said otherwise. But up to you.
