Has William's alleged affair been mentioned yet or is he saving for book 2?

Surprised this hasn't been exposed, thought that would be the big reveal. I'm doubting there's any truth to it now unless he's saving it for book 2?

I don't actually think there's any truth in the affair rumour, if Harry made this particular accusation I think he'd be sued.

We don’t know if William has had an affair or not.
If there was an affair, Harry may have his own reasons for not revealing it.

When was the affair do those in the know say? I've heard it was while kate was pregnant with Louis so 2018?

According to Hello! Rose and her husband were guests at Kate 's birthday party in jan 2020.

There was no affair, and there is no book 2. They (4) are all in this 500+ pages of shit.

There will be a 2nd book (and a third, and a fourth) as Harry has signed a 4 book deal. That's not to say they will all be autobiographical, it's likely they will spin it out with a self-help book, maybe a "raising children" book, and who knows maybe a cookbook!

I think the point about 'people are saying PW had an affair when are you going to believe it' is that people can say anything about anything - proving it is different.

I think posters are saying

I don't believe it - they have a right to their opinion esp on the basis of no undeniable proof

I want proof - which is not unreasonable

Name who is saying it - I guess to try and ascertain the likelihood of them being in the know.

I don't know if PW has had an affair, I hope not and would be surprised if only because he would get crucified publically

Where does this leave those who believed there was a link between there being an affair and Harry being sacrificed or whatever word you prefer to keep the affair quiet?

Do you still believe that and if so why would you say Harry hasn't addressed that?

Given the stuff he has said about PW (attacking him etc) given the non relationship they currently seem to have, given the whole point was to explain why he felt misrepresented etc and bullied into leaving (mostly due to leaks/throwing them to the press on behalf of other members) do you realistically believe Harry would hold back on this?

Why would sharing the news of William’s affair (if indeed there was one) achieve anything and how does it have any bearing on Harry’s belief that he was hounded out?

It seems (imo) that there are grievances about the wider structure of power within the RF (plus ca change and all that) and press leaks (as yet unidentified) which Harry has raised that I think many people recognise and have some sympathy for - but he’s then thrown some incredibly personal details about his family into the pot (which every family has and which should remain behind closed doors and on medical notes) which has reduced the level of sympathy.

Harry would probably have felt sympathy for Catherine which would have been obvious in the book.

It reminds me Janet Jackson (it was either Janet or Rebbie I think) said they believe that Michael did molest a child and they saw evidence, but the 'Family' got to her and threatened to cut her off financially and she retracted.

Even murderers confess and then retract if they're scared.

It was a specific thing to make up. I'm not saying I believe William had an affair, I don't know. Personally I can't imagine William having an affair - but it's a rather specific accusation with names. So, I wouldn't believe just because he retracted it, that means he made it up in the first place.*

Perhaps Rose was after a grandmother or great aunt. Maybe there is a reason they chose Rose, it's such a common name.

We don't know if there was an affair, maybe there was, maybe there wasn't. I don't believe that it's anyone's business, people have affairs and marriages break down or they work through it. Clearly W&K work really well together and have the loveliest kids, they are not going to risk that even if Will strays occasionally. Kate herself is from a very stable background and must be a huge support to William. He really lucked out and Kate is still finding her feet in her role but she'll be great, precisely because she is no Diva. I hope she won't doubt herself. In the end, K&W will get over the hurt Harry is causing them and become better people and better royals for it.

We don’t know for a fact if he had an affair. And fwiw I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s true so am inclined to believe some of the rumours, although I doubt it was Rose, but I don’t know.

Neither do you. Unless you were the person he allegedly had an affair with.
