Hmm
LadyKenya · 25/12/2022 13:39

Having a lark with her cousin is hardly a crime, if that is what she was doing. I did not see it though.

lollipoprainbow · 25/12/2022 14:19

God all the kids dressed like mini victorians. Lady Louise looks about 50.

Pieceofpurplesky · 25/12/2022 14:28

Lady Louise looks like she has been crying.

DanseAvecLesLoups · 25/12/2022 14:38

Some posh rich kids attend church. Wow

antelopevalley · 25/12/2022 15:09

Andrew was there at a Royal Family public event.

antelopevalley · 25/12/2022 15:10

@Gjggjj I can't see any footage of that?

And the peasants are wetting themselves with excitement by the looks of it

TheLightSideOfTheMoon · 25/12/2022 15:17

Why is Louis in shorts?

It’s December.

If a regular parent sent their child out in shorts in December they’d be called neglectful.

SellFridges · 25/12/2022 15:26

My seven year old wore shorts to school every day except the last week of term. His choice. Nobody has called me neglectful.

antelopevalley · 25/12/2022 15:27

They have to dress differently so they look special and stand out. If they wore what ordinary families wore to church it just shows them as ordinary.

lollipoprainbow · 25/12/2022 15:34

Peasants outside waiting for a handshake from the royals ! Pathetic

antelopevalley · 25/12/2022 15:35

Imagine if your mum said she could not spend all of Xmas day with you as she had to try and shake hands with a member of the Royal Family!!

It’s the perspective she’s actually too far behind William to reach him - she’s gesturing to her sister to go ahead of her - she does make a bit of a weird face though.

Apart from the hats which does seem super formal they aren’t wearing anything particularly fancy - just nice coats - I’d wear something similar for Church on a regular Sunday but definitely Christmas Day.

antelopevalley · 25/12/2022 15:59

Then you would stand out. Especially the kids. People do not go to church dressed as if they are going to a wedding.

Some boys have to wear shorts to school.

You wonder how its possible in this day and age, with everything we know about them and the country on its knees, how we are still expected to fawn over a bunch of privileged nobodies.

They dress up fairly smartly where I grew up in the UK and go to Church when I’m home - even here in the US which is a lot less formal people wear nice dresses and coats for Church - the kids too. No little boys in shorts over here but apart from that not much different.

In fact I have one winter coat which I only wear to church as it’s too smart for anything else over here.

Nobody expects you to do anything. If others want to it's their choice 🤷🏻‍♀️

Nobody is forcing anyone to fawn all over these people. That is the really strange thing about it all, that they would choose too.

lollipoprainbow · 25/12/2022 16:49

Great pic of Charlotte looking at something pink and fluffy she has been given in puzzlement. Can't people give to children that don't have anything rather than these privileged ones.

Yet it is the lead story on many papers, above the Liverpool shootings. There is something quite tragic how some folk forensically follow this stuff.

MumofSpud · 25/12/2022 21:51

There was a family interviewed on the news, who can e down especially from Gateshead - I can't imagine !!

purpledalmation · 25/12/2022 21:56

@DanseAvecLesLoups Very few people 'forensically' follow this stuff. Under normal circumstances the Liverpool shooting would be front page everywhere, but it's Christmas and people just want a little bit of light and cheer for once. I saw it on the news. No idea if it was top story or not.

Believe it or not, quite a few people like the royal family.
