Kate more beautiful than bride!!

Just read about a wedding William attended. In the comments underneath are people praising William and saying Kate is more beautiful than the bride.

Why do people do this? Why can they only say they rate William by putting another woman down? And I thought the right thing about a wedding was to say the bride was the most beautiful there - whether true or not. Anything else is just rude.

Genuinely think there's a couple of work experience girls with five accounts each who make everything pro-Kate/leap on anyting remotely anti-Kate (which this isn't). Hope Carole's paying them as much as she paid the pro-Kate Daily Mail commenters.

The OP isn't pro-Kate. She just has an extremely unhealthy obsession with all of them. 500 threads started over the past year. Not all of them about the RF. About 20 aren't. She must just sit and read and watch stuff about them 24/7.
It's really quite disturbing.

It does seem as if there is a klaxon that goes off somewhere. Someone mentioned Kate! Quick get on and say how she is amazing and never sets a foot wrong. The thread isn't criticising her? Does not matter, post it anyway.

I think they’re far more likely to maintain the status quo. I suspect that’s one of the reasons why they appeal to an older generation (think Jeremy Clarkson). But for people of my age and younger there is little enthusiasm for W&K, or the RF as a whole. When MM married into the family there was a temporary interest. But given the treatment she endured by the media, supported by the royal institution, many of us have taken a republican stance. Here’s hoping that recent revelations will act as a catalyst for the demise of this archaic, dysfunctional institution.

I'm probably missing something, but there don't seem to be any pictures of Kate in those articles for people to actually comment on.

And I'm embarrassed to admit that I've read the comments, but there is one comment under the DM article saying Rose is pretty, but Kate is prettier. Most of the rest say combinations of "the bride/her dress are beautiful"; supportive comments about William and some comparisons of William and Harry.
Afaics, the DT comments are - in the main - variations on a theme of "Swipe me! I thought I was reading the Mail instead of the Telegraph for a minute - this is isn't newsworthy".

Interestingly, a few have mistaken this Rose for the completely different Rose with whom William was rumoured to have an affair.
Presumably you knew it wasn't Rose Hanbury (the actual one involved in the rumours),OP.
