Kate more beautiful than bride!!

Just read about a wedding William attended. In the comments underneath are people praising William and saying Kate is more beautiful than the bride.

Why do people do this? Why can they only say they rate William by putting another woman down? And I thought the right thing about a wedding was to say the bride was the most beautiful there - whether true or not. Anything else is just rude.

So you read articles about Kate and William attending a wedding, then read the comments (so I'm guessing this is Daily Fail), then go on Mumsnet, start a thread and then reply to comments on the thread.

Just like with the notorious 'Kate isn't wearing her wedding ring' post. Even though Kate was in fact wearing her wedding ring.

Nobody should need to elevate someone by putting someone else down. Kate is beautiful in her own right, why do people feel the need to put someone else down in order to make this point. Especially when talking about a bride it's poor form.

Women can and should be able to exist without constantly being pitted against each other.

This is hilarious, the op has not said one thing about Kate but has been pounced upon immediately to be told she's wrong and Kate's amazing.🤣🤣
I'm starting to believe the theories out there that the royal family have a dedicated sector to search through every newspaper article/ social media/ public forum and source out anything that could be perceived as non-Kate adoring and have orders to shut it down.
Obviously as H and M's popularity is over taking the Cambridges, the royal
Family need to control this.
The show of "hugs" at the xmas carolling service was embarrassing. It was so fake and weird to watch.
It's actually cringing to watch their public appearances anymore.

3 royals have negative popularity ratings. 'H and M' are two of them. The other is Andrew.

Presumably you made this comment on the 'article'? It would be a lot more relevant there than here. I'm not sure what you want us to say about a discussion none of us have seen or participated in, unlike yourself.

It's also normal practice to link to an article when it's the subject of the OP. Is the source too embarrassing for you?

I care about the misogyny which seems to be a knee jerk reaction for so many supporters. And you can see it in this instance. They did not have to compare the two women in the first place. No one was asking them to.

We can't 'see it in this instance' as you haven't linked to your source. We only have your description to go by.

I understand the source is embarrassing to you so you won't link to it. But perhaps you could tell us what you hope to achieve by getting all outraged about an 'article' on some other unnamed website? What would you like us to do about it?
