Headline on front page of the Metro seen on the train. Didn't read the article. Said by Harry.

Who's he referring to? His brother?

Even if Kate and William divorced tomorrow, their legacy will always be a longer and more stable marriage compared to Harry & Meghan's one. I have no idea why they would even raise it.

H&M seem to be strongly hinting that all is not well the the PoW marriage.

Are they?
Is that based on close recent observation or heart to heart chats?
Is it because the PoW marriage is not based on TRUE LURVE like the DoS marriage?

H&M seem to be strongly hinting that all is not well the the PoW marriage.

To paraphrase the incomparable Mandy Rice-Davies, they would, wouldn’t they?

‘English attractiveness that most women are very impressed by and aspire to’ !

really

just when I think this place can’t shock me I get shocked.

Straight out of Enoch Powell’s playbook! Good grief!

If H&M happened to be an ordinary couple in my village I would wonder if the ordinary man allegedly had had a thing for his SIL & or her sister, or the ordinary woman had allegedly made a play for her BIL.

Not that this scenario has happened with H&M as they aren't ordinary people.
But.

Meant to say but obviously who knows what the issue is?

Have you ever seen Queen Elizabeth and Prince Phillip together, in the flesh, because I have he was about 80 he made her blush, and the love in both their eyes was amazing. I have family who actually knew them and it was a standing joke about the chemistry between them.
The same is said by people who interact with William and Catherine when there is no camera in sight.
Even when being filmed there is always an intimacy in their actions, a smile and when they laugh you can see it us not forced, Harry used to display this happiness on camera till he married, now there are few moments where he shows happiness and he films himself 24/7 so he seems the one who is more unhappy .

I don't really understand why people seem surprised by this.

Many people from institutions don't marry for love. Many people have arranged marriages. Historically this has been true in Britain too - to enhance ties between countries.

To me Elizabeth and Phillip seemed genuinely in love at the start. But yes the family looks beyond themselves and marries for many other reasons. I thought this was common knowledge?
