Who is behind the camera taking pictures of Meghan crying?

Also, what's so remarkable about their 'love story'? Who really cares about the 'romance' of middle aged parents?

And like I said above, their total lack of self awareness and absurdly inflated belief in their own importance will make their soft focus snuggling utter cringe. Millions will be mocking them, and they will utterly fail to understand why.

Agree - delusional and grandiose are the words that spring to mind.

They continue to make right tits of themselves - everyone can see it.

Cringe.

Cringe.

And because of the above mentioned lack of any self awareness whatsoever, they will no doubt blame the mockery on people 'misunderstanding' them. So we'll have yet another book, or interview, or 'documentary', possibly all 3, where they can 'give their side of the story'. Rinse and repeat.

George will be king and Meghan will still be looking to 'get her side across' about who made who cry at his sister's dress fitting.

CathyorClaire · 02/12/2022 16:15

a lip reader caught Mike Tindall referring to H as a bellend

Takes one to know one...

Readinginthesun · 02/12/2022 16:23

How did Harry cope with all the photos being taken given his claims that cameras clicking triggered him ?

Rhondaa · 02/12/2022 16:24

I really, really hope the rf keep their dignified silence and leave the Sussexes to carry on making fools of themselves with their delusions and grandiosity.

Let actions speak louder than words and just cut ties completely, don't invite them to any official events. Think the rf just have to accept there is no chance of reconciliation when Harry clearly has an axe to grind <still> despite apparently being so very happy and living his best life EVER.

NewStartIn50s · 02/12/2022 16:26

Who were the workers at the palace that M bullied and who was the 3 year old that she was unkind to. Why does H come over as a spineless idiot who wants to destroy his brother and his brother's marriage? Is it jealousy? Anger? Revenge (for what)? Spite? Or because he is a coward that knows his brother cannot respond to whatever he says.

Sigma33 · 02/12/2022 16:26

Not to mention playing polo when the sound of horses hooves give him flashbacks to walking behind his mothers coffin

You might have to watch it to find out 😐

I think its sad that two once close brothers are estranged. I think it's sad that Harry had really a really good relationship with Kate, whilst it's sad that his children and his brothers children will have little contact.
The only observation I would make is that Harry's relationship with his family seems to be mirroring Meghan's relationship with her family, that may be co-incidence or merely due to the fact families grow apart.

Markle is the common denominator there. If he’d married Chelsey or Cressida I doubt very much he’d be chasing zelebrity in California or trashing his family.

I think Charles' reference to them 'living their life overseas' subtly but unmistakably made it clear that they are out. They'll probably be invited to the coronation, but they will receive a glacial reception and will look like total hypocrites if they attend. And then, that's pretty much it. They'll surely have exhausted all their royal 'grievances' with the 'documentary' and the upcoming 'memoirs'. Royal life will go on without them, just as it has for the past 3 years. Unless they can come up with something which doesn't involve trading on their tarnished royal connections, I see them fading into relative obscurity quite soon.

Up to a point I agree with you however how much goading can they take especially Catherine ? I wonder how her parents feel seeing and hearing their beloved daughter being publicly slated ?
If nothing else the titles have to go .( No doubt we will get the usual what about Andrew!?) this gruesome twosome in America need to be swiftly dealt with .

Rhondaa · 02/12/2022 16:30

That trailer! All the arty poses.. the dramatic music building to a crescendo Grin. We had it with the Winfrey trashy chat show and now we have it again. Where is their self awareness how can they not know how ridiculous they look.

We had a glimpse of it with the arty chin grabbing engagement shot but honestly, they are the gift that just keeps on giving.

So sad and depressing for the rf. I hope they are all looking after their mental health.

BasiliskStare · 02/12/2022 16:32

@dayswithaY - you did make me giggle there - thank you - David "Windsor" Brent - the artist formerly known as a prince

'Up to a point I agree with you however how much goading can they take especially Catherine ? I wonder how her parents feel seeing and hearing their beloved daughter being publicly slated ?'

True. As the Sussexes say no one knows what goes on behind closed doors and I bet Catherine is really struggling with this shit situation. Honestly on the day they're there doing the earthshot thing! couldn't the Sussexes have supported that? Jesus. Such horrors.

FloresApparuerunt · 02/12/2022 16:36

It's a pity, though, isn't it?

They broke away from The Firm (I'm making no judgement on the fairness of this - families can be very difficult, let alone when they're so much more than just relatives), but instead of moving on and carving out new spaces for themselves, they seem almost to be entrenching themselves as just 'the ones who left'. I mean, surely they have more to offer than this? Surely, they aren't just the breakaways? But I don't think we've seen a lot of growth and healing from them to suggest otherwise.

We wouldn't be having this conversation if they'd gone to the USA and had managed to keep relations cordial, if distant, and Harry had gone into whatever sort of job posh ex-army blokes usually manage to find and she had gone back to acting, and they'd called themselves the Mountbatten-Windsors and just got on with life.

It's like they're stagnating in this self-imposed black sheep role. I think it's a real shame. They could be happier and freer and, at the moment, they're choosing not to be. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Annie232 · 02/12/2022 16:37

I wonder if their will be a Buckingham palace statement after the series aires?

I’m sure there’s a long-term game plan, though. First came Megxit, cemented by the Oprah interview. Now they’re setting themselves up financially and with the Freedom! tour of the memoir, podcast and documentary. They need to bed in that narrative, which obviously got muddied with the participation in the Queen’s death and funeral with the Fab Four walkabout. Guarantee they have advisors setting up the story for the next era, and the next. But they didn’t leave so very long ago and the dust really hasn’t settled – it makes media sense to continue this path for a little while, since it’s still the story. Once the new era of King Charles settles and embeds, I reckon then they’ll move on.

angela99999 · 02/12/2022 16:45

Harry must be very lonely, he's lost his old life and everything he's ever known. But that's no excuse for letting his grasping wife lead him by the nose. It's a lot of pressure for a marriage. I wouldn't be at a surprised to see him back, alone, in a few years.

CathyorClaire · 02/12/2022 16:45

The deal with Netflix must have included editorial control, including the trailer.

Highly unlikely NF would trust a proven pair of clowns them with editorial control of anything when they're coughing £88m for the dirt (an eye watering £14.6m per episode). Let's not forget they ditched Meghan's dreary sounding cartoon series without blinking.

I suspect the deal was take it or leave it.

Ohnonevermind · 02/12/2022 16:47

Any time I see them now the eagle song ‘desparados’ comes into my head and I can’t stop it 🤣

Ah but polo has fast hoof beats and the ones at the funeral were slow. Completely different.

Well, Archie and Lili will have to grow up without their extended family.

Who knows what revelations they will make about their upbringing in years to come? No doubt they will have nothing but praise for their parents for protecting them from their toxic relatives, and bringing them up with enlightened attitudes.

I think the British hooves have racist undertones 🤣
