Just that really. The funeral will be on tv a couple of hours, I’ll record it to watch in the evening (kids would not be interested or have the attention to watch for that long).
shops and places to go are shut all day. Ideas what to do with the kids? It will feel like a lockdown day again. I will want to go out, but then feel people will judge me for not watching the tv grieving, but then if I see them out they’re not watching it either.
Would just like peoples thoughts, DH thinks I’ve got no heart because I’ve even thought about a day out with the kids 🤷‍♀️

We will have a quiet day at home. DP is working. Me and the DC are planning to watch some of the funeral and make pizzas for tea.

I'll be packing with my dd for her PGL trip, going to put all the summer stuff away. Will of course be watching the funeral, kids probably won't, take the dog for a walk and will have a home day. I think it's great all shops are shut.

Myself and DP will be watching with our 8 year old.
Few crafty activities and bit of homework stuff followed hopefully by a walk in the woods....
Just want to shut the world out for the 3 of us after watching it and have a quiet day to mark the day and let our DC unravel from the past week of all the rolling news etc -they're autistic so it's been very overwhelming for them until they make proper sense of it.

No plans to watch the funeral. Will go for a good long run and do some batch cooking. I’m not a royalist.
