What do we think is going on here?

1. There something to hide - either against Palace or MM?
2. There was nothing irregular against Palace or MM?
3. Both parties need to leave sleeping dogs lie?

If the claims were completely unfounded then H&M would have insisted on the review being published.

Nah, they've actually been very respectful throughout I don't think they would. They felt 'shunned' at the jubilee but as non working royals the seating arrangements were appropriate and ergo in line with what they allegedly wanted. They haven't made any official rebukes to the interviews they have done, the only things the papers have published have been a source says William thinks x or whatever. Who knows what's in the report but I suspect the silence of meghan and Harry is more telling!

H&M have not been quiet, as stated several times on here. They sent out a formal statement saying it was all lies, back when the accusations came out before Oprah. Their friend then denied on This Morning, indicating that they also have receipts if they are needed to prove this is a lie. Then they denied them again via their lawyer in the BBC documentary. They also denied a few months ago when the story came out again. That is plenty of denials.

They are probably realising this story will keep coming back to make the rounds every time a scapegoat is needed to cover up another RF story. Except when the queen goes, the palace should not rely too much on H keeping quiet about everything.
H&M last spoke last year with Oprah during the MH month. They have kept quiet about the RF since then. The palace should certainly not think they can get away with smears as I don't think H&M will be so reticent when PC is in power.

It makes me think that the guy who was once very much on the inside (Diana's time) now knows nothing but is desperate to keep up the pretence he is still has connections.

I'm not surprised they haven't released any details - there's nothing to be gained on either side by continuing to sling mud, especially if they want to reconcile at some point. I suspect the behaviour on both sides was less than ideal and they would both come out looking ridiculous, so the best thing is not to release it.

If no bullying had been found, the Palace wouldn't have changed their bullying procedure.

Clearly the report shows MM in a terrible light, but BP don't want to broadcast it as H&M are unstable and will hurl around even more mad accusations about the RF.

Just because someone repeatedly denies something doesn’t mean the allegations are a lie !
The fact is that none of us know however I would have expected H and M to release a statement if she was exonerated.

But I fully expect leaks in coming weeks. I doubt if the press will let go.

Bullying in the work place and being falsely accused of bullying are both awful.

BP had a chance to set a real example here and shine a light on an issue that organisations are all too keen to brush under the carpet.

My statement was to those who say MM has been quiet about the accusations. She has not.

She was not 'exonerated' because she was not 'investigated'. They say they were investigating the processes - which begs the question that why did they not do this process investigation when Anne, Philippe, Charles, William and Andrew were accused of bullying. Why specifically MM, what is it about her, that makes them want to investigate.

MM does not have to say anything now, because she has not been investigated, charged or exonerated of anything. Off the record, she has denied any wrong doing and that's enough.

The press will not let it go, because there are a few fun facts that the public has to be blinded to :

• H&M left the RF 2yrs ago. It's been a pandemic and hard all round. Despite the minus of these 2 seniors royals (with MM accused of spending too much during all her time there), yet there has been no decrease in the spend, just an increase.


• The lump sum that gets assigned to PC's two sons remains the same for the last 5yrs despite the fact that H&M left 2yrs ago. The 4M has always been reported as if 2M for W&K and another 2M for H&M. Technically, that means, there should be 2M less assigned to the PC children's assigned amount.


• H&M paid in their 2.4M to renovate Frogmore as well as rent money on top.

Those points are just what involves H&M. Never mind the several trips, chopper flights under 15K, security etc. that are not declared in the report.

So yes, the press won't let this diversion go, incase the plebs look too closely at the finances.

So Charles is still bankrolling Harry? If so that is a disgrace.

Charles ain't bank rolling anybody. It is YOUR taxes doing the bankrolling. Harry has been financially independent for 2 years. You should be angry at the other royals you are bankrolling

Our taxes which are given to Charles then if you want to nitpick. A good deal of his income comes from the Duchy Estate.
Harry can’t be financially independent can he if Charles is giving him money every year. The other Royals who receive public funds are ‘working’. Not lying by their pool firing off lawsuits and whining about their lot.
We may quibble at their definition of work, but at least they’re doing something in exchange for their paid for lifestyle.

"She has nothing else"?? What / who are you talking about? Meghan has done well for herself. An accomplished woman before she met Harry. She has a title now and tbh, those of us who like her, like her because of who she is and not for the title she has.

She has done well for herself. Very well. However, at this moment in time, and if she is considering a political career, then she has nothing. She needs a believable message, standpoint and perspective. What would be her angle? Feminism? Race? Environment? Despite what posters say about Americans not being interested in her title, that is the only thing that may possibly work in her favour if she decides to run. It has given her a global platform and makes her a talking point. Nothing else that she says is worth noting (she has nothing new and no solutions), whether about feminism, race issues, the environment or her other topics.

Except they didn't.

They paid the £2.4m refurb costs which suddenly included an undisclosed sum to cover rent for an undiclosed period.

Someone, somewhere lost out probs the taxpayer as per but it wasn't them.

Could it be a warning to Harry not to fill his upcoming book with slurs against the RF? If he does dish dirt, that report might well be leaked ...
