Eugenie's dress:

I think she looks great. She's definitely dressing better

I'm sure I had that dress in 1973, I would have been 7.

Aye, I know what you mean

Gives me the creeps too... glad its not just me

AnyFucker · 13/05/2022 08:44

Don’t like the frock but she looks great. Fantastic figure. And what is up with the bloke ?

orangeisthenewpuce · 13/05/2022 10:48

I think the dress is lovely

IcedPurple · 13/05/2022 11:40

The dress is a bit 'busy' but generally she looks good.

As for the husband, I do think he's very aware of the advantages of marriage to the queen's granddaughter, let's put it that way. But that's not necessarily a bad thing, and he seems comfortable with the role of 'married in'. So I'm prepared to give him the benefit of the doubt.

SleepingStandingUp · 13/05/2022 11:44

Love it. I'm too short and fat but I think it looks great on her

RollOnWinter · 13/05/2022 11:47

It's Beatrice, the dress is hideous. She's got a nice figure but is very horsey-looking like her father. Horrible.

LaMarschallin · 13/05/2022 12:03

He (Edo?) looks like he should be modeling a cardigan on a 1970s knitting pattern.
I like the style of the dress (looked stunning on the D of S in green) but not keen on the print.

but is very horsey-looking like her father

Maybe that's why she never looks quite as pretty to me as she should. She's got lovely big eyes, thick hair, good (if slightly big) teeth and good skin, but all the elements don't seem to work as well as they might.
Maybe the resemblance to Andrew is a subconsciously off putting.
(And, no! Obviously I'm not going to post a picture of myself for everyone to criticise.)

Bit disappointed in the Mail, though. Nowhere did they use the phrase "stepping out", nor did they tell us what she did with her "lustrous locks". Tsk!

LaMarschallin · 13/05/2022 12:07

"is a bit subconsciously..."

(It's very annoying that the italics sometimes work on here now and sometimes don't. Even in the same post!)

80sMum · 13/05/2022 12:14

The dress is not to my taste nowadays, but is exactly the sort of thing I used to wear as a young teenager in the early 1970s. It has a look of "home-made from some fabric that I bought at the Saturday street market" about it!

Having said that, Princess Bea looks well and happy - and if she likes the dress, then what does it matter what anyone else thinks?

It is a marmite dress. Personally I like it, but either way, she looks positively glowing and confident herself.

Rainbowshit · 13/05/2022 19:02

She looks great. The shape really suits her. Not overly keen on the print though.

LaMarschallin · 13/05/2022 19:04

Actually, looking back at my post, it was the D of C that wore the green Vampire's Wife dress.

LoveSpringDaffs · 13/05/2022 19:17

Dress is hideous, but she looks happy & confident (& has a lovely figure). Those teeth are quite something! Long earrings are not a good look & draw further attention to her teeth.

ShirleyJackson · 13/05/2022 19:21

That dress is beautiful.

Theunamedcat · 13/05/2022 19:23

It suits her and her unique style now that she has left off the ott accessories she looks fabulous

starfishmummy · 13/05/2022 19:27

I dont like it, thats just personal opinion. More to the point it doesnt appear to fit very well.

WildCherryBlossom · 13/05/2022 19:35

Her earrings are great!

The dress not so much. I don't like the sleeve length or the shirring, and that frill at the bottom of the dress makes it look like it was run up out an old valance (remember them?).

She does have a lovely figure, good hair and looks very happy. I think her husband looks quite sweet too.

DonAlfonso · 13/05/2022 19:43

Love the dress- the Vampire’s Wife stuff is great. I think if this were on a normal celeb people would be commending her fashion sense. Generally I think Beatrice gets a hard time for being a bit more out there and interested in fashion- I love it, can’t all be dull Sophie Wessex!

MozerellaSalad · 13/05/2022 19:52

Its a great dress and she looks lovely

MaulPerton · 13/05/2022 20:40

I've just read up about this brand. The dresses are fabulous. She looks great in it.

ElCoh · 13/05/2022 20:47

She looks fucking gorgeous. Reckon most of you haters are jealous because your wobbly bits would be all over the place.

Meredusoleil · 13/05/2022 20:48

Rainbowshit · 13/05/2022 19:02

She looks great. The shape really suits her. Not overly keen on the print though.

I'm the exact opposite. Hate the shape/length/style of the dress but love the print! It needs to be a lot shorter/less covered though imho. She has great legs. Why cover them down to her ankles like that when it's not a ballgown?!?

DorritLittle · 13/05/2022 20:51

I think she looks lovely. She has a gorgeous figure. I'd look terrible in it of course.
