Will she abdicate?

I’m suspicious this is on the cards this year.

Does anyone else feel that things are being put in place for this?

She remembers the impact of the last abdication.
She's Queen until death.

No she won't. That isn't her way.

There is part of me that wishes she would follow the Queens of the Netherlands who do abdicate and leave a younger monarch in place. Charles is my dad's age. It seems weird him reaching the pinnacle of his career when he should be retiring.

I don't think she looks frail. She comes across as very sprightly still.

No, she has always said that she will serve her whole life; she reiterated that just a few days ago. She has been putting things in order for a smooth transition.

I think we will see less and less of her after the jubilee celebrations in summer, but there is zero chance of her abdicating.
