That touched a nerve with me too as I worry a lot about my DD not having a sibling. I'm probably just being over sensitive. What are we, if we are not a family? Anyway, I love the photo. Just wish I hadn't read the message.

Okay found the full photo, but people are so picky. You can only see a small part of Harry's foot. It is Archies foot you see.

But even a Christmas card can't stop being a shill shill shill to what they have done. I wonder if they sleep at night 😅 "as we look forward to 2022, we have made donations ON YOUR BEHALF to several organisations....." on your behalf? Nah I still see the marketing machine first and everything second. No changes here

Oh I agree it’s a picky criticism. I was just pointing out it wasn’t made up, you can see he is barefoot.

Ok, but Lilibet and Archie are just wearing short sleeved cotton clothing while Meghan is in a long sleeved jumper with a neckline that only just misses polo neck status. Surely she is absolutely baking in that?!

The cynic in me did wonder if the sudden decision to release a photo of the children’s faces is because they’ve realised that is their USP? I have no real interest in what they’re doing, or what they’re doing for which charity,but I am interested in having a peak at them. Same as for William and Kate. I think haveing grown up with the Royal Family I have that retained interest much like one would with a distant relative.

I think it is a lovely relaxed photo. Much nicer than the formal posing of William and Catherine and children.

And you really think this was not a photo shoot and this photo chosen as the one among many? 🤣 with their wedding photographer? Double standards

@RoyalFamilyFan Hard to tell how people feel by looking at photos though, isn’t it? Professionals like actresses and models often look relaxed in pictures when the conditions in which they were taken were super uncomfortable. I mean, who knows, maybe she felt fine. She might be one of those people that feels every breath of wind and needs to be kept very wrapped up. But I’d be way too hot!

@Coronateachingagain of course it is a photoshoot. But all of them, even the baby is relaxed and happy. And that is a tough job when you are photographing a baby who won't smile for photos.

@Roseandgeranium her face does not look hot. If she is fine wearing a jumper, I don't really care. My DP is the opposite and wears t-shirts when others have jumpers on. He genuinely does not feel cold. But he also grew up in a draughty freezing farmhouse, so I think just got used to the cold.

They didn't last year. And most recent photos of Archie they have taken from behind or obscured his face, even this one isn't a full on shot of him.

No idea why they didn't include Archie last year.

Archie has always been included.
The time he was crawling in front of the xmas tree, he was front and centre on that.

Then last year it was with him in front of his playhouse.

When was he not included ?

It might be a nice photo but I'm afraid I've never been a fan of family photos as Christmas cards.
