Starts with Trooping the Colour

Then beacons lit, A service of thanksgiving, big concert 'Platinum Party at the Palace' plus HMQ going to The Derby, plus Big Jubilee Lunch on Sunday (street parties?) and a pageant

(Even if you're not interested in this stuff, might be worth noting the extra holiday now).

I've just had pop up saying the Queen will be confirming attendance at commemorative events this summer only on the day.

Not clear if this is just a new strategy, in which all events are now to be confirmed on the day (and which is being editorially slanted fir the Jubilee).

It also says her aim is to do as much as possible.
(So I'm wondering if this is a bit of a non-story)

It's getting exciting now. I shall be awake all night, wondering which of the 'Queen' mugs to have coffee in tomorrow.

I hope she'll be very well so she can go to the Derby. The golf buggy would be good for that.

I wonder if she will use the golf buggy for the Trooping of the Colour and the thanksgiving service. It's a grand way to get about.
