Seriously, He has had an Eton and University education, He must have an incredible contacts file Could he really not have found some suitable employment to help fund his family without resorting to reality tv? I'm thinking maybe Bonhams/Southerbys as an art expert sort of gig (with training obvs) Give himself a pupose in life?, a reason to get up in morning? No more need for dads money?

A few of them do seem to have jobs, so why not him?

He really ought to have worked harder at school and studied finance or something like that...

Loyalty, discretion and stability are traits valued by most employers. Sadly, I’m not sure if Harry would fit that profile right now........

Environment, animal charities, mental health, volunteering, mentorship of young people, yada - as long as they manage their brand well - and she is smart so they probably will, people will pay to hear him speak. I wouldn’t, but people will. They will make plenty of money.

After dinner speaking is very lucrative, TV producer, talk show host, presenter. Also Meghan will be able to earn mega bucks now that she is a household name.

Talk show host? Presenter? I cannot see him doing these things. He isn't a great speaker . I just can't see it. She could do those things, but I can't see it being something he'd be any good at.

I'm sure he could read from a script, plus being a brit over then, neve mind a royal, would definitely allow him to to get away with a lot. Actually I could see him on Saturday Night Live. His sketch with the Queen for the invictus games was quite funny.

It wasn't that long ago that Harry was a husky, vibrant sort of a man, going on expeditions in extreme environments with wounded servicemen and women and setting up the Invictus Games. He was in his element. Now he seems to have lost his sparkle.

I would like to see him living 'more authentically' as Meghan might put it. He should play to his endurance strengths and physicality rather than just being a Meghan acolyte. Perhaps he could organise a survival type competition for Netflix with vets from the US and the UK.

Now that Meghan's got her voice back, the two of them should concentrate on Harry getting his joie de vivre back!

Well if he's sat in his 9 bathroomed,multi bathroomed, multi acre estate contemplating their 'compassion ' and need to be philanthropic and save the environment there are plenty of projects right under their nose.Watching Simon Reeves America just now and the state of living in the 'Golden' state of California -shocking.However there would have been plenty to do here in the UK too.Just not multi million deals with Netflix etc.

Meghan is a great public speaker - you might not like what she says as she is from California and her vernacular doesn’t necessarily gel with the British mindset - but she has confidence, beauty and charisma. If they had a slightly better speech writer she could earn the extra they need and he can provide income from his investments (I think £10m invested in the 90s would be just fine thank you very much - at least double and more like triple to £30m).

If they can be a team in terms of Harry providing a basic (huge to everyone else but bills covering) income and cuddling Archie - and I think he has always been fabulous with other people’s kids and is evidently besotted with his own; Meghan can do what she does well. She speaks beautifully, she suits American audiences and she has a drive to make money.

They could also live somewhere a bit smaller if they wanted to save a few million. They may have turned down that farm in Herefordshire they were offered but a six bedroom place won’t kill them.

They have options. They have different skills that could compliment each other. Archie would have a lovely time with Harry. They just have to cut their cloth. We all do.

I think they were going to get their income from public speaking and appearances. It pays a lot in America apparently. Then the pandemic hit and everything got cancelled. The Oprah interview was clearly done to make them more relevant again and bring in some work.

She has to! If they don’t make enough money they have to adjust their spending or go broke and she really won’t like broke (we none of us do...). They are financially independent now - taking her at face value.

Harry pays her security bill with his inherited gazillions. If she wants to play with the Clooneys, she has to make Clooney cash! She is in a good position to monetise herself. Irrespective of one’s view on her personally, whether you want her to succeed or fail, as an American woman who had a reasonably successful career - she was no Angelina Jolie - true - but a repeating character in a show that ran for a good number of seasons, she has married a wealthy, famous man who adores her and can afford to fund a big house and the bills. She can profit from the rest of it in America. With hard work and skilled PR.

The UK press isn’t crazy about her but they’re in the states now!

Personally I think Charles and/or the Queen should fund his security permanently. Its not his fault he was born to the most famous royal couple in the family, and his tours in Afghanistan have made him even more of a target.

I actually agree totally with this. It's really not his fault that he has a security target painted on his back. Either the state or someone in the RF should pay for the family's security.

Other than that, he should be on his own.

Personally, I think it would have been better if he had discussed his unhappiness with the RF and used the family's Commonwealth connections to get the family settled somewhere where Harry could have used his army type skills to learn wildlife conservation work like tracking and tagging animals. Megs could have moved into the media side of this, creating wildlife and nature documentaries about what was being done. It would have been easier to discreetly keep the press discreetly at bay, esp if we are talking somewhere like South Africa where wealthy people have so much security and seclusion anyway that it's going to be easier to keep the media at arm's length without making it super obvious that that is what is being done.

That said, this plan presupposes that the pair of them would have been OK with listening to others, taking advice and compromising. Megs in particular would have had to have been OK with not living in California and being a mega media star. She might have decided she was OK with this, or she might not.

I think Charles and Queen probably would have paid the security bills if they'd compromised. The feeling I have is they weren't willing to compromise. They could see disaster coming.
