Stepping right away from all the personal stuff..... a couple of observations from me.
I know the "men is grey suits" descriptor is catchy (and came from Diana originally) but it's not a remotely accurate description of the Sussexes team either at Kensington palace, or later at Buckingham Palace. They were overwhelmingly women, many in their early 30s, and were not exactly life-long palace employees. One was on secondment from the Cabinet Office, and an experienced diplomat, one was recruited from Burberry, and some had worked previously with Harry when he shared William & Kate's offices, and presumably he had a good relationship with them, and so they were happy to move to his new team. Their Communications Secretary had worked for the Hilary Clinton campaign. So they don't exactly fit the profile of outdated, job-for-life dinosaurs (or vipers) as they are being portrayed.
Secondly, you are not guilty of perjury if you overstate your court papers, or embroider the truth in them. At worst you might be found liable for contempt of court if you sign a statement of truth (which you have to do to file a claim) if you are later found to have been economical with the truth in them, but in reality that hardly ever happens. And, I also hate to be a bearer of bad news, but honestly, people lie in their court papers all the time. Disappointing, but sadly true. That is also why the court goes through a whole judicial process to test allegations against the evidence and make its decision as to which account is more likely!
