@Mummy195
Providing lies in court of law is against the law. That would be perjury. I think it's quite a reach to think MM and the lawyers would risk that
Not saying they are providing lies. I'm saying that they haven't a good track record of being spot on with details in legal documentation. But it's also interesting to see you say 'I don't think this person would lie in court' because that's not at all how legal processes should work. Cases should be judged on evidence, not on whether someone is viewed before the case even begins as someone who wouldn't lie. Otherwise we're back to the bad old days (if we ever fully left them) of upper class people always being given the benefit of the doubt and assumed to be of good character, and lower class people assumed to be criminals, liars etc because that's the stereotypical expectation.
Can we please stop with the snarky maybe MM is perjuring herself in court. It's not really positive, and unproven, while at the same time defamation.
You've posted a number of things on here about other people, including other royals, that are unproven. By your statement here those would be defamatory (which I don't think you are using accurately). I really think we should have the same standards applied across all posts, and not have any comment questioning the Sussexes met with 'that's unproven' but any comment supporting them doesn't need evidence and any questioning is met with 'they wouldn't LIE'.
I also hope MN's rule about not making posters feel unwelcome on threads is applied equally across this and other threads.
