Pelican I imagine Sophie is outraged on behalf of the Queen - they are very close and Sophie probably feels protective of her as HMQ ages.

Kate curtsies to HMQ even when not required, and with a huge smile on her face. I always find it amusing

Meghan did it twice and very pronounced
It was a contrast to the others

The first six are seated, awaiting Charles, Camilla & HMQ. Edward is talking to MM, who is seated beside him - being friendly in a gormless, oblivious sort of way, while all the others (Harry, Wiliiam, Kate and Sophie) are bristling with discomfort & having some stilted, forced conversation... Meanwhile Meghan (beaming her best veneery grin) looks as though she were having the time of her life.

Camilla arrives with Charles and stares intently at MM, but MM studiously avoids her gaze, head lowered, raises it to the side and beams at Harry with a huge false grin. Harry looks desperately uncomfortable. It's all so awkward.

Kate just did a normal curtsy - Meghan's was that of an actress

Edward and Sophie were lovely - Sophie talking to Kate and Edward being polite to M & H. Noticed only Edward stood to say hello when Kate and Wills arrived - M & H stayed put in their chairs. No interaction at all between the two brothers.

I've now had to leave the TV to do some work!

SaidTheActressToTheBishop Catherine definitely curtseyed. I noticed when the camera view was from behind them and then it changed to a front view and Meghan curtseyed.
