Awful news for the whole family. She must have been about twenty weeks I guess. I have a friend who discovered a loss at the same point. It's a dreadful shock. I hope the press leaves them very much alone.

Very sad indeed.

DonkeysDontRideBicycles · 24/12/2016 13:28

Very upsetting.

UnbornMortificadoAtChristmas · 24/12/2016 13:29

Read that back and it's still sounds gossipy so please ignore it.

Thoughts are with the family especially Zara and Mike Flowers

AndShesGone · 24/12/2016 13:34

That's so utterly terrible SadFlowers

Northernlurker · 24/12/2016 13:35

Unborn, I said much the same and I don't think it's gossip. It's quite obvious this wasn't a first trimester loss and as such it will have been very shocking for them all. Bloody 2016!

SirChenjin · 24/12/2016 13:38

Very sad news - and as pp have said, I hope they are given privacy.

ParadiseCity · 24/12/2016 13:41

Really sad news.

11122aa · 24/12/2016 13:41

So sad news. Especially at this time of the year ( being this time of the year probably meant an announcement might have had to be made sooner than they would have liked).

EdithWeston · 24/12/2016 13:42

It's not gossip/speculation because the official announcement in November said late spring. So it must be about the 4 month point, give or take, and the exact number of weeks don't really make much difference to how horrid it is.

Awful news at any time, but a difficult extra resonance so close to Christmas.

RebelandaStunner · 24/12/2016 13:42

How awful for them Sad

tribpot · 24/12/2016 13:42

What terrible news for them. So sad.

Largemelons · 24/12/2016 13:47

It's every couples worst nightmare.
Surely the press will leave them alone, it's not like they court the media at all. I hope they are allowed privacy and that their lovely little girl gets them through this sad time.

SecretWitch · 24/12/2016 13:49

Feel very bad for them and anyone who has experienced pregnancy loss.

LemonBreeland · 24/12/2016 13:50

How sad. My heart goes out to them

OliviaBensonOnAGoodDay · 24/12/2016 13:52

That's so sad. I've met Zara and she's an all round good egg. Wishing her lots of love and strength.

contrary13 · 24/12/2016 14:00

That's horrendous, and I'm sure all of our thoughts are with them.

I knew Zara and her brother when we were children (and then later on when her brother was a student). Even though she's always been quite a robust individual... and from what I can gather from my ex who also knew her husband as a child, so is he... no one deserves to go through this. Especially not at the one time of year when everything is geared towards little ones.

Wolfiefan · 24/12/2016 14:02

Such sad news. I too hope they are left alone by the media. Thoughts are with them at this hard time. Flowers

80sMum · 24/12/2016 14:05

AnnieAnoniMouse · 24/12/2016 14:12

kittytom · 24/12/2016 15:08

JerryFerry · 24/12/2016 15:14

All those bemoaning the Press, you do realise that gossiping on an Internet forum is equally intrusive, no?
