With the Royal nuptials fast approaching, here at MNHQ we've noticed a common trend in the mails pinging daily into our inbox. From the cute, to the classy , to the shocking and just astonishing .

Can you do better? We have seen this thread so we know you're already ahead of us.

You've got until midday 20 April to link to your favourite wedding tat memorabilia on this thread. MNHQ will put together a shortlist on 21 April and you will get the chance to vote for the most gloriously OTT memento of Will 'n' Kate's big day.

The winner will be announced on 26 April and will receive a suitably themed gift .

I have a mug from wilko's that cost me a quid and I LOVE it though it is seriously crap.

The teatowl nearly tempted me but it felt like nylon so wasn't sure it would dry anything.

Yea its a bit pricey... but I remember seeing this for the presidential election in the states, where 500 boxes of 'Obama O's' and 'Cap'n McCains' were made - they went for $40 a box initially, then became collectors items and sold for hundreds of dollars on eBay afterwards! I'm probably going to hang on to my boxes for a while, but I'm getting a good number that I can hopefully sell on for more later!!
