Bet it's not strapless.

That vera wang website is dreadful! so hard to navigate through the dresses, and you can't even see them in full!

MayorNaze · 17/11/2010 20:33

maybe she will go british - i hankered after jenny packham as i am a bit boho but sadly i am also not rich :(

LaurieScaryCake · 17/11/2010 20:33

You can, the link I posted was after I clicked on one - you can go back and scroll through at full length (don't bother, they are super boring)

MayorNaze · 17/11/2010 20:35

chic but perhaps a little racy for royalty

brimfull · 17/11/2010 20:35

I bet it'll be simple and plain

brimfull · 17/11/2010 20:38

or summat like this

MayorNaze · 17/11/2010 20:41

LynetteScavo · 17/11/2010 21:35

I think something like this

Mumsnut · 17/11/2010 21:41

Vera Wang made Posh's dress so I can't see KM in onje, somehow ...

MardyBra · 17/11/2010 23:16

would this be a little too risqué

Lets face it, she will look good in a bin bag!

CaveMum · 18/11/2010 08:12

The Queen's wedding dress was simple but beautiful. Perhaps Kate could look at something similar.

whoneedssleepanyway · 18/11/2010 09:00

Colditz that looks liks the dress my sister had which was a Pronovias dress.

I think something simple and elegant...

Dorothyredboots · 18/11/2010 09:39

The dress will certainly have sleeves of some sort. It is historically not the done thing to have bare shoulders in church and for our Royal family that would be a big faux pas. I think there will be a train; if you are getting married in Westminster Abbey or St Pauls you need some kind of statement dress. A designer called Issa has been mentioned but I'm doubtful as the engagement dress was from that designer and they like to spread it about a bit. Bound to be a British fashion house I think, especially after the hoo ha after Diana once wore a Frenchie.

agghhhhhhhh

I am now unable to get the scene from Four Weddings and a Funeral out of my head, when Andi MacDowell appears in a huge range of dresses, including a shepherdess one.

KenDoddsDadsDog · 18/11/2010 15:47

I'm sure my cousin had that dress Colditz if it's Pronovias. I had a Jenny Packham, they are gorgeous.

So long as it isn't something as grim as Princess Mabel (DIL of the Queen of the Netherlands)
