I had the living room all tidy & ready for the photo session but apparently that was unacceptable. Kitty came in there for a snack & then we watched her return to her current favourite lair, where she condescended to pose in return for Dreamies. As long as she didn’t have to leave the bed.

Fred seems to be able to sense whenever I turn the heater on and he appears from wherever he has been sleeping. I don't even think there's 0.5cm between him and the heater, I'm surprised he hasn't burned his nose by now.

If Herbie and Timmy have many more spats, I will speak to Timmy's owner and ask if he is actually neutered. Hopefully owners of female cats in the area have had their cats neutered...I agree that it is incredibly irresponsible not to.
My sister visited , in order to meet Herbie. He was quite aloof, but didn't swipe her when she stroked him so I consider that a win. There is a brown tabby belonging to her next door neighbour and its name is Gizmo!

I’d say that when they stay out & allow themselves to be stroked it’s a definite win.

Kettle spent yesterday evening validating my decision to buy him that radiator bed. Such a warm glow of satisfaction when the cat appreciates his presents 😊
