Passports, buckets and spades - the Excellent Cats go on their holidays

The last thread filled up very quickly, mainly thanks to Gizmo's adventures. He is now a fully-fledged Excellent Cat.

And it's allegedly summertime so Ho for the Hols!

The lovely vet has given her some super strength flea and worm stuff. Apparently her breathing just looks dramatic as she's so skinny. Hopefully she'll start to put weight back on now, otherwise it'll be £200 for blood tests + appmnt fee to see if it's a thyroid issue.

She was a little angel on the way there and in the vet. No shouting, no claws. She did try to get more Dreamies from the vet afterwards though 😁

She deserves a treat for being a good girl!

I have ham and chicken waiting in the fridge for her. They all had Felix AGAIL last night. They inhaled all 12 pouches in about 30 seconds 😁

I went out shopping today, but when I left the house I could immediately hear the unmistakable sounds of Picard and Gizmo yowling at each other.

I followed the noise, and discovered them in my neighbour's garden, glaring at each other, while Linney was sitting on the wall, observing them.

Picard then saw me, and wandered off. The neighbour came out and told me that "the broon one" (that'll be Gizmo) had spent the morning on his sofa.

Lexter is enjoying the sunshine. We call this position "road kill" or "lying down wheelbarrow" (as in the wheelbarrow race at school).

The flea stuff the vet put on Vixen really is super strength. All afternoon I have had dying fleas landing on me as they have made a desperate attempt at survival and jumped from her. Little buggers.

And I forgot the photo!

Btw, I do flea treat the cats every month but stupidly switched brand from Advantage last month. I won't be making that mistake again. Just in case anyone thought I was neglecting them and that's how Vix ended up infested.

What beautiful windows you have @RumNotRun , and Lexter's back legs seem weirdly long in that photo, probably because he's hiding his front ones.

Thanks @Pixiedust1234 it's a window film which I had to cut to suit Vixen's height as she likes to spy on people outside.

Just spotted HC5 - who didn't respond when called. But at least was livelier than HC4.

@YesItsMeIDontCare in Krakow they have dragon bones at the castle. Sadly when I went, it was too late in the day to see the bones.

How TF does Grumpy not only see a whole bunch of Holiday NMCs, but also manages to take pictures of them, before they run off?
