The last thread filled up very quickly, mainly thanks to Gizmo's adventures. He is now a fully-fledged Excellent Cat.

And it's allegedly summertime so Ho for the Hols!

Picard just dropped in to see me.

He really is enjoying all those open front doors and I bet nobody is slamming them shut and saying no. Does he let them all pet him or do they have to just admire him from afar draped across their bed or sofa?

I saw a cat have a wee in a drain a few weeks ago. I was impressed.
What did the vet say@HouseofHolbein ?

Vet said to keep an eye on how she is eating and they'll see her if needed earlier than next Monday. Otherwise we'll keep the current appointment. The kids are keeping a close watch on how she is doing.

We've decided to get Gizmo on to Solensia. His ability (inability?) to jump is pitiful.

Vixen has been very affectionate today, I think it's her way of apologising for smashing my art deco butter dish earlier. She fell asleep so soundly on me that she collapsed sideways with her eyes halfway open. If it wasn't for the snoring, I would have been worried.

Leroy finally had his vaccs today. He's officially fat and needs to have a tooth out 😱

I asked the vet how much tooth extraction costs. "Five fifty" he said. £5.50? Wow, that's not bad! 🙈😱😂

This ginger menace was rampaging around with one of his many toy mice this morning. I heard a massive clatter, found Mr Mouse was in the water dish, and the water all over the kitchen floor.

Here he is helping me WFH yesterday. Our lovely girl had form for clambering on laptops and sending streams of nonsense into Teams chats. Once in a global conference call of DP’s, where he was on camera so there was just a big white blur, and once into an all-staff training thing of mine (thankfully camera off). Loads of people put cat faces in the chat or wrote CAT straight after. Louie is yet to reach this level of thuggery. (Yet, obviously.)

My tortie Vixen isn't too bad. She likes to leave her marks by slicing my skin with her evil spikey claws instead.

Fred's fur though gets everywhere and is v noticeable cause most of my clothes are black and he is white. I don't get cuddles from him, the fur just migrates to me.
