Having just looked up "cat water mats" I couldn't see one lasting more than 5 minutes with Leroy. 😂🙈

I didn't know what a cat water mat was either before looking them up.
I will not be buying one for ours 🤣

I've been tempted but I don't know if this bunch of lazy buggers would bother with it.

I mean, they're only about £6 but if Linney's reaction to cat toys is repeated, he won't even look at it.

Gizmo, though......... he's just different, somehow. Maybe he'd like one.

He's the only cat I've ever met who eats absolutely any cat food. He also finishes his bowl, every time.

Not for Gizmo that annoying nonsense where he licks the juice and leaves the bits. He stuffs himself, every time.

He happily takes medicine if crushed into Lickelix.

Downsides to Gizmo include his trying to get behind the sink in the bathroom and hissing at us for no discernible reason.

Oh, and needing a GA to have blood tests at the vet's.

Maybe I'll get him a water mat. It can always go to the charity shop.

When he used to break into our house it was always to nake a beeline to the food and finish everything.
NDN used to restrict his food intake at times because he did have a tendency to turn into a barrage balloon 🤣

@Pudmyboy There's no catnip in them apparently but a mix of other dried plants that cats like. Fred won't move from the one he has claimed, and when I came to bed Toad had pushed his way next to Lexter so that they could both cuddle on the other one.

The actual blanket reminds me of a tea towel, it's a plain square of cotton or something similar. I was a bit surprised as I thought it would be something more like a fleece blanket, the type of thing that cats normally love snuggling with, but clearly the herbs turn even a tea towel into a perfect blanket 😁

@Breadcat24 I am the same, constantly suckered into buying new toys or beds for the tribe, only to be met with total disdain or simple uninterest if I am lucky! I did order the cork balls with the HK blanket, none of the cats have been interested in those.

Well, I've bought the Catit treat ball thing.

This is the first time I've seen Linney and Gizmo fairly close together in the garden.

Mr SB asked me what time I'd let Mr Gizmo in overnight, and I said I hadn't. Then he said he hadn't, either.

Gizmo must have got in through the window. Yay!

That is Cheilidh (a Scottish Gaelic name) who died in 2016.

She was amazing. Feisty and clever.

Jeepers, wouldn’t mess with Suzy or her fangs. Mind you, she has one brass neck. She’s the interloper, without the grace to look sheepish at (one of) the resident cat(s) calling her out on her trespassing.
