I've just realised that I posted about Gizmo on the morning of the 8th, and less than 60 hours later on the evening of the 10th he's moved into his new home.
The MN rehoming model works a treat. 😁

I did feel sorry for TC's dad though.

Such a long journey, and saying goodbye to an eleven year old cat, who you've had since he was a kitten 😸.

He'd planned to camp near where we met up, but missed the 8pm curfew.

Mind you, I wouldn't want to camp in the West Coast of Scotland, with all those midgies

I have spoken to him - he's made it to Falkirk safely and is camping there as planned for his work tomorrow.

And because he got to the meeting place so late, we ended up going back very late ourselves, and had to be escorted through roadworks via a convoy.

Our round trip to get him took us almost six hours! It was worth it though.

Jeez. Rather him than me, driving all the way to Falkirk from where we met.

I'm glad he's okay, though.

Ha! Mr SB has been growled at, because he stopped Gizmo from getting into our food cupboard.

Linney has decided not to move from the table for the time being.

And so it starts 🤣

This is just bloody wonderful! TheShellBeach (and Mr TSB of course) you are absolutely fantastic to do this and also to keep us appraised of TC's machinations.

Settling down for the night

It's lovely weather this morning and we have the novelty of being able to leave the front door wide open to allow our cats easy ingress and egress.
I may even open the patio doors later and leave the room just for the hell of it. 🤣
