We rescued these girls yesterday!

Very little information about these cats - mother and daughter Havana Browns.

They are very beautiful and gentle - happy to be picked up already and exploring the room. Mum is much more confident than the daughter.

They're going to the vet this week to get scanned for chips, and a general health check.

They do have names but I don't share them because they're a bit OTT and outing 😆

Yes very - especially as mum is on heat at the moment.

We have lots of Siamese so are used to Orientals being chatty 😸

Basically we're very well trained by our cats so these girls have landed on their feet with a ready-trained family, so they don't have to start from scratch to whip us into shape!

You do know that you;ll do something to offend them - they are cats after all .

The HoneyMoon Period where they settle and be all nicey-nicey then once they have their very elegant paws under the table .

I love that description! One of our other cats has very ' I have got the RSPCA on speed dial you know ' attitude 😸

We've been experimenting with letting the Havanas meet our other cats today.

I feel like we should be playing 'Two Tribes' by Frankie goes to Hollywood' in the background 😆

But nothing too bad yet - some hissing and growling from the Lilacs but no tails up and the Havanas have been great 🤞🤞🤞

Once they’re accustomed to one another they will begin collectively plotting your subjugation in earnest. Be afraid. Be very afraid. 😄

You lucky people. I have one or two of these as well.
They are absolute queens. Incredibly affectionate, full of energy or fast asleep. This one is almost certainly plotting something..

You've got very steep stairs @Beamur and that cat has a very long flexible tail (I'm saying nothing about The Look )

Ha ha. This one is deeply mischievous. Adores my DD but quite enjoys a spot of targeted violence towards me!

Orientals do use their tails a lot. If you're lucky you they wrap it around your arm and snuggle you back.

Our Siamese boy curls his tail possessively around DS1’s arm when they are curled up together on the sofa.

That cat looks a wee bit like something that shouldn’t have been fed after midnight.

My Siamese has recently decided that the best place to sleep is in the hollow of my collarbone. Also allows her to shout in my face at 5am without having to move.

Doing a bit more introducing - mum making herself comfy on our bed, which is where my other 3 girls sleep every night!
She's very brave 😸

She looks very relaxed. How do your other cats feel about the new additions?

She really is the spitting image of my Havana too 😄
