Is anyone else’s cat quite concerned when their owner goes for a bath?

Toots will sit at the side of the tub watching very closely. She will insist on being as close as possible. Be it on the floor or actually on the tub.

When you’re out the bath, the moment your skin is dry, she will make sure her scent is over you again. Won’t be satisfied till it happens

I have 3. 2 that absolutely insist on following each one of us to the shower/bath/toilet. One sits on the edge of the bath and watches toddler DS in the bath. He’s been known to bat me or DH away if DS so much as winges in the bath. Now I’m heavily pregnant I have 3 cats permanently by my side or on my body. I have not been left alone in 31 weeks - my only female is the least affectionate of the 3 but now she passive aggressively taps me if I haven’t spoken to her or acknowledged her. She also gets quite pissed off DH when he’s late to serve breakfast and she’s very vocal about it 🤣

Branston and Pickle stay as far away from the water as possible and clearly think there's something deeply wrong with me for wanting to bathe.

Toast will, if given the opportunity, jump in with me. He is a strange and wonderful creature who loves warm bubble baths.

Mine sits in the landing waiting for me, I like that I see him as being respectful 😂

My favourite cat likes to check the water is ok before making himself comfy on the bath mat to ensure I don't die as I'm the only Tin opener Im The house that is regular, and I give cat nip - often ends up with second DCat shoving his paws under the door and DFCat (favourite) starts boxing with him ... and then the dog shoves her snoot in and if lucky (them not me!) she can push the door open and all hell breaks loose in my sanctuary
As SOON as I'm out all pets bugger off and do something else ... DCat usually just bothers me til I feed him ... again!! 😂
